As long as you're awake and aware enough to retain consciousness while falling back asleep, it should be a problem. Getting out of bed tends to help that, but if you honestly think you don't need it to truly wake up, then all the more power to you. |

Try whatever works best for you. If you're afraid of not being able to go back to sleep comfortably or quickly, make your WBTB short. If you're afraid of falling asleep too soon, stay up longer. |

Lucid dreaming makes for a wonderful night's play.
Beginners and there repetitive replies. Personally when I am trying to perform a WBTB when I wake up I try to stay as still as possible with eyes closed so I can enter back into a dream as quickly as possible. |
