      Eating

This might be inaccurate because my recall is still inconsistent anyway, but every time I eat more than a few crackers an hour or less before I go to sleep, I find I never remember any dreams and I highly doubt I become lucid because every LD I've had in my life (about 6 or 7, all before I started trying...) has been so vivid that I remember it almost like real life and I wake up after it as well. So, just wondering if anyone else has noticed this same negative relationship dreaming has with eating. Not all that important, just curious.

Thats weird because whenever I drink a warm glass of chocalate milk before bed, I have a lucid dream 3 out of the 4 times I try. It's pretty effective for me.
Whenever your thinking, just remember thoughts become things.

I don't think food has any significant effect on dreaming. High doses (1000% or more) of B12 does. But not cheese/milk/bread, etc. There's no evidence for it.

That being said, I use dark chocolate during wake-back-to-bed, as a reward for actually waking up and putting effort into doing a wake-back-to-bed. :3

      Yes.
Exactly my opinion as well. I've heard very few cases of mundane foods affecting dreams.

I don't think the crackers you eat have anything to do with your dream recall, you probably just expect to not recall any dreams when you eat crackers. Just try to improve your recall and you should be able to remember your dreams everyday.

I think dairy products can help with lucid dreaming and dream vividness but it just might be a placebo. My dreams seem to be more vivid when I eat cheese before bed.

Abra, what should a B12 vitamin with 1000% daily value do to dreams? I might take one tonight.

      ^Probably
