I think I know cuz I tried a deild, when I woke up I stayed still and it went all fuzzy and stiff, does this mean I'm in a dream, I know it's sp but I just need to know what transitioning feels like for when I try it again. |

I remember it briefly from my DEILD. |
|
for me it's always a scary transition, buzzing and humming noises gets extremely loud and intense then it feels like something if pulling me into a dream. seriously the transistion hits me like a train. |
|
When trying a WILD for me it feels like my hypnogogia gets so vivid that it completely engulfs my field of view and gains color and more intense sounds and feeling. Then i know I'm in a dream |
|
For me, when WILDing a transition is very clear. Going from consciousness to a dream has always involved some sort of physical sensation (falling, a sound that bellows so loudly you can feel it, floating and vibrations are a few I've experienced) and out of 9 transitions I've only had one where I didn't realize I transitioned. They are usually very distinct and unmistakable. |
|
WILD/DEILD transitions seem to be a little different for me than everybody else. |

The best reason for having dreams is that in dreams no reasons are necessary.
No sailor controls the sea. Only a foolish sailor would say such a thing. Similarly, no lucid dreamer controls the dream.
Like a sailor on the sea, we lucid dreamers direct our perceptual awareness within the larger state of dreaming.
When I DEILD I either feel vibrations all over my body, or I feel vibrations and a sound of a loud train. I usually don't see any imagery but last time I did this I saw a brief glimpse of space. But anyway I wait untill these vibrations slow down and when that happens I immediately roll out of my bed, of course when I roll out it isn't my physical body that is rolling out. |

For me going from sleep onset to lucid dreaming involves a sensation of going through a kind of portal... 'falling' into a dream world. It is a wild sensation and quite exhilarating. DILDs are much different as realizing I am in a dream is more subtle although just as joyful. |

The vibrations come really strong for me. If can remember the things I see before, they're usually just colours in my field of vision, and the sounds always goes along with the vibrations I feel. The sound is usually coming from somewhere in my room, but it gradually intensifies as I feel the vibrations. DEILD is really quick for me, as I'd only remember a void before going straight to the dream. Though WILD is slower, they're both just intense with the vibrations. |
