      WILD - clock ticking...

      Hi everyone...

This might just be my lack of imagination, but i need some suggestions on how to have a WILD...

I usually set my alarm early in morning, around 5 or 6 (i wake up at 7:30am usually) and try to have a WILD. I have had a LD via this method only once, but want to keep persisting.

I have a clock in my room that i hear tick and wondered if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can use this to my advantage when trying to have a wake induced LD.

      Thank you in advance.

      Cheers!

I do not have much experience but focusing on the ticking sound might do the work

If the sound is low enough, you could focus on it to stay awake and then when you enter the dream, you won't hear it. According to Naiya, she does this with her fan

I have a wood furnace that uses a fan to project the excess heat through the house, and this is a very full and comforting drone sound, which I use to just fall asleep sometimes. If it can hold your attention and not be intrusive of your sleep after you've gone to sleep, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I'm not on DV much these days, but I'll try to toss a cool dream or two into my DJ.

I found great success last night with my very first attempt at a wild using the timer method. You can get the timer free at the saltcube website. This was today's experience at the link below and info on where to get the timer.. this method seemed to work perfect for me.
