Thank you so much for the replies!
And I do have a question. If you keep practicing MILD, will it be easier to do it in the future?

I guess so. I remember after having 1 lucid dream it was easy to get the rest. ( as long as I was still interested in Lucid Dreaming)

In Stephen LaBege's book he says now he can have lucid-dreams any night he wants, and I'm pretty sure he uses the MILD technique because he created it ( or was the first to record it I guess)
"The world is your playground. There are bumps along the way but this playground comes with a fully equipped toolbox with equipment out there to solve ANY disease, problem or issue out there. ONE problem. Some tools are harder to find than others. Lucid dreaming is just one of them."

I prefer to do my WBTB with somewhat of a WILD attempt. It does not always work and perhaps would be better to combine with DEILD instead of WILD, but yesterday the whole WBTB mixed with WILD technique worked. I did it twice and had 2 False Awakenings. Of coarse there could be a possibility that the only reason the WILD part worked was because I woke myself up enough to do so. Anyway, you should try WILD. I think everyone should because sleep paralysis is not really as scary as people make it out to be. I've about 4 WILDs in the past month and about a year ago I had alot(more than I wanted). You should try it because it is an interesting form of getting lucid. However if you wish to stick to WBTB and MILD, Marcher22 seemed to be on to something with his first post.

Reality is what you make it. Why not make it a dream?

      Yes, it will get easier!
MILD relies on using your prospective memory! It's like a muscle, the more you use it the stronger it gets!

What you're doing is training yourself to remember to remember!
A very good excercise for this is practicing your MILD's during the day!

What you want to do is pick a random cue in the morning! Maybe a dreamsign but it doesn't have to be, since in this case your trying to train your prospective memory!
Each day you do it you choose a different cue!

So for example you choose people who are wearing hats.
In the morning you say your mantra : "If i see someone wearing a hat, i will RC to this!"
Repeat this mantra for a few times.
Then visualize yourself running into someone with a hat, and doing an RC to it!
Then repeat this progress : say your mantra a few times, visualize, repeat...

Then you go through your day, and see how many times you've RC'd to people with hats!
The first day you use this you might forget to RC alot (or hopefully only a few) of times to RC to your cue, depending on how good your prospective memory is to begin with. But the more you'll use this method, the better you'll get at remembering to RC to these cue's!
So using this you will train your prospective memory, and increase your chances of succesfully using MILD to induce lucid dreams!

Also, some people just use mantra's when they MILD, but it has been proven that visualizing yourself achieving this mantra increases your chances of doing it!

Like i said in the other thread, these techniques take time and effort to master! Naturally the more you use em, the easier they will get! As it is with most things you learn in life!

Also, feist303, while I am RCing to, say, people with hats in the day; should I also be doing it to my dream signs too?

Ofcourse, keep RC'ing to your dreamsigns as usual! That's very important if you want to learn to recognize em in your dreams!

You can use the excercise i said on one of your dreamsigns.
But if you're already used to RC'ing to your dreamsigns (= you always remember to RC to em), you can use other things wich aren't dreamsigns! (like people with hats)
