Here's my dream journal from last night (or this morning since it lasted so long) |

Possibly. You could try meeting her again and asking her if she is your dream guide, or ask her to be your dream guide. |
If she is my anima, then is she dangerous? I am sure she is just not another DC. I read that anima both has a light and a dark side and anima can actually cause physical death or possession. Is this true? |

While the early psychoanalysts got a lot of things right, I would take that kind of thing with a pinch of salt. I don't believe that (in a psychologically healthy person) there is anything in your mind that could kill you or take over your personality. I don't prescribe to the psychodynamic view that all the sub-conscious is a malevolent, chaotic and violent abyss, because then all dreams would be a kind of Freudian nightmare, full of penises and traumatic childhood experiences, and they're not . Most accounts I've seen on Dreamviews of members finding their anima/animus have had a profoundly positive experience. |
Yeah, you're right. I will ask her who she is the next time I sleep. I'll try to lucid some time today. |
Honestly, I'm not sure. It seems to me, though, that if a dream figure is conscious enough, and you have a strong connection with him or her, then the figure could potential adopt the role of dream guide. |
