Thought I'd drop by this forum to share something.
Sometimes my dreams are quite lucid, and like very well written stories. Last night it seemed to be fantasy themed. I was part of a team of people. We were trying to save some villagers stranded on top of a mountainside, with a huge black dragon guarding the path. We had our own dragon, a white one, that we sent out to kick the ass of the other dragon, and save the day.
Sometimes the characters I'm with in dreams are way too interesting and life-like, and I wonder how they're really part of my imagination.
Last night I became especially lucid, and I started trying to grab the attention of these mental constructs by asking if they are actually other dreamers, and if so to please give me their full names so that I can contact them on Facebook.
Results: One construct said that yes, he was another person dreaming and his name is Pierre, his last name was very hard to get down, something like Mvadre.
The next guy told me immediately that his name is Ray Flowers and that he lives in California.
The third construct told me even if she was a real person, she had no interest in knowing me in 'real life' (she apparently didn't like me very much in the dream). After some persuasion, she decided to go for it anyway, but she asked for my name instead. She started trying to write my name down, which is Cyrus. She expressed dismay at trying to recall my name. I told her "Cyrus.. as in Miley Cyrus!". It's hard using the left lobe brain to write down or recall information in a dream (as we know). She started trying to tell me her name, all I got was "Amy". Then everything went spinning and I woke up.
I immediately jotted the information down. I haven't had much luck with the Pierre lead, but there is one "Ray Flowers" on Facebook who apparently lives in California. I sent him a message and asked if we had recently met somewhere.
This is probably all in my head, but I'll let you know if anything develops!
