Post Getting stuck whilst trying to get out of body?

I wake up with SP quite often, and sometimes when I'm in a clear enough state of mind I try having an OBE. The problem is, I never manage to get completely out. There's always one body part that feels like lead and gets stuck and it prevents me from completely escaping. Why is this? What can I do to free that one part that just won't budge?

Have you read any books by Robert Monroe ?
He has lots of ideas on how to obtain the oob state.
If you do not like the idea of trawling through books, he did a few videos that are available on youtube.
Lots of members on her have had quite a bit of success with other methods.
      They should be along soon.

Don't ask me why but I notice that when I attempt to project from my guest room 100% of the time it's a struggle to separate, any where else like the family room or my bed room no problem. Experiment with location.

When you are in a higher state of consciousness, it not only creates the life of whatever you want, but also on whom ever you want". -LifeBlissFoundation

Monroe suggests pointing your body in a north/south direction.
Does this have any connection to your success rate ?

Expectation has a huge amount to do with this. It is similar to LDing as in, if you expect to run into a problem you increase the chance that you will.
Peace Be With You. Oh, and sure, The Force too, why not.

I think there were similar topics recently, in my opinion this is simply lack of control of a beginner lucid dreamer. This is absolutely normal for everybody who starts lucid dreaming, instead of thinking "I want to move, I want to go" - use your willpower and intention, do not think of what you want to do, just do it. Like sivason said, expectations play a huge role.

Yes I've heard that notion in the past. Positioning definitely plays a role in obe/Ap. experiences. I can relate to the OP because its like you separated but something keeps pulling and tugging you back to your body. Making it very hard to move. I've even tried yelling out clarity commands but the tug is so strong u can't even speak. Lol
