      Lucid dream or OBE

Hi, I think this is the first time I am posting here, though I have been reading a few things on this site. I have been trying a few techniques to lucid dream and have an OBE. I have had a few lucid dreams in the last year or so and probably had one I would call an OBE. All my lucid dreams, I gain lucidity whilst in a normal dream. The one that I think is an OBE occurred when I awoke in the middle of the night having the feeling that I can get out of my body, so I slipped out of my body and was by my bedside, then went through the wall to the corridor, and from there through the external wall to the outside. I had little sight during the episode, did try eye pry taught in Lucidology, without gaining much sight. As I got out of the house my wife moved and I was back in my body.

Last night woke up at 4.30, listen to lucid dreaming tape but woke up again after 30mins. Then listened to the Gateway Experience from the Monroe Institute, it has binaural beats. Fell asleep whilst listening to it and was dreaming, during the dream I felt some vibrations, my upper torso was pushed upright and I felt I was thrown out of my body. I was in a room which did not look exactly like the room I was sleeping in. After a few attempts, I managed to get outside. Again I had little sight, did eye pry and gain sight. I was in a green field with one or two trees but no people or other objects. I thought I would like to meet my departed father and called for him, but nothing happened. I then decided to go to the moon, again unsuccessful. I then saw through a window and saw people in the distance, at that point there was an instruction on the tape and I felt forcefully sucked back into my body. I felt I was lucid from the moment I felt the vibrations.

Did I have an OBE? Points for an OBE is clear sensation of getting out and returning into body. Against OBE - the location wasn't my physical location unless I was projected to what Monroe calls Locale II

      Grateful for your views.
      Thanks

Some people believe that WILDs and OBEs are the same thing. I'm not gonna dispute that. But I had some experiences, that are closer to WILD, and also some, that I closer to OBE.

I think that you exit into both same, or very similar way. The difference in how you experience the place you exit into is in your level of awareness.

The only way I could tell for sure if I'm in OBE or LD is, if I end up in real world. So when I observe something, I'm able to go there after waking up and confirm. But in OBE, you can end up in other realms, besides the real time zone. So it's hard to say, what was it.
