There are many ways to activate your 6th chakra, the Ajna energy centre, commonly known as your 3rd eye.
Anatomically it manifests as the pineal gland,a small pea shaped organ in the centre of your brain,at the level of your eyebrows.
You can start with basics such as nutrition:
Avoid processed foods, bread, dairies and any form of meat.
Eat lots of leafy green vegetables and organic fresh produce (GMO free).
Don't drink tap water,it contains fluoride which calcifies your pineal gland. If possible fetch your tap water from a flowing mountain stream or somewhere in nature, away from the dampening energy of the city.
Use natural toothpastes that are flouride free.
From there, start some basic meditation:
Focus on the area in between your eyebrows and approximately 2 inches backward into your cranium (where the pineal gland lies), in a comfortable seated position.
When the mind drifts bring you attention lovingly back to the same spot.
Do this for 10 minutes first, then increase the time period incrementally.
Once your focus becomes stronger you can imagine a small 2 petaled dark blue/indigo flower with a hole on the middle of your eyebrows.
Imagine that your breath is flowing in and out through the centre of this flower, and you are inhaling white vibrant healing light and exhaling tension and negative emotions.
Feel this light emanate outward from this central point, illuminating the abyss of your brain/mind.
Again, when the mind drifts bring it back to the visualization.
The above outlined techniques you can use for starters.
If you want to get really deep you can start researching and practicing some of the Ancient Indian meditation arts such as Pranayama Kriyas, Kundalina Yoga,Tantra and various mantras.
You can also incorporate 6th chakra crystals into your meditations.
Some powerful ones are azurite, kyanite, falcons eye and lapis lasuli.
Use of any crystals should only be once you have cleansed their energies and programmed them using a strong intention.
It all depends on how deep you want to go and how far you want to pry your 3rd eye open.
This is an age old question, and you will not open it overnight. It could take an entire lifetime,if not many.
But if you are determined and persist in your practice you are bound to succeed.
Its all up to you.
