Dream Yoga Visualization and my Paranormal Experience.

Hello citizens of the Beyond Dreaming subforum.

I have been practicing the visualization technique of Sivason's Dream Yoga course "Here"and a spark of curiosity for the Beyond has come back to me. I will need to give background info:

When I was a kid, one night, I went to my bed and sat on it, at the end of it (opposite to the pillow side) with my favorite stuffed cow. My brother was sleeping in the bed on my right. The door was semi-closed, only a thin line of light could slide into the room from the lit hallway. I was listening to my parents talk. I was petting my cow while looking at it, and calmly looking at the light from the door, listening to my parents' voices, then, looking at my pillow, and slowly cycling through these things with no purpose, just relaxing. Then, it's when it happened. I looked at my stuffed cow, and colors started appearing. Those colors that appear when you look at the sun and then look away. They can be any color and they look like blobs. I was very familiar with those so I didn't mind. But other color blobs started piling up and soon, I could not see my stuffed cow behind those colors (I thought it was because I looked at the light from the doorway). Then, the colors disappeared... But my stuffed cow wasn't there anymore. I touched for it, thinking maybe I couldn't see because it was too dark. But no. The object I had been touching a few seconds ago was gone. I looked under my bed, in case it had fallen. It was not there. It made no sense and my reaction was that I should probably go to sleep and figure this out the next day, so I went to my pillow and found my stuffed cow resting on the side of it, the opposite corner from where I had been with it. And since, that day, I dedicated my childhood to finding out what happened that day.

I never found anything. But practicing the visualization technique from Sivason's Dream Yoga, I was able to consciously make such a blob of color (of the color of my choice) appear in front of me. I could change the color at will, but it was very small. This was with my eyes open, in a well lit and busy bus. And now, I am motivated to get better at this, take my same stuffed cow, that I still have because it symbolizes so much to me, and put it at the end of my bed, and make the color blobs appear and cover it, and just see what happens. I don't expect anything to happen, but it feels like... Closure?

And, I don't have any spiritual or scientific explanation for my paranormal experience, but what I most like to believe is that, a potential power, God if you want to call God that, or any kind of anything was just telling me "Everything is possible. Always remember that. You know nothing."
