Shared Dreaming IS For Real, My Experience

A year ago, I was staying with my mother at a hotel room. I had a dream which was not very clear and I wasn't lucid either. When I woke up and tried to recall, I could only remember certain scenes. Me and my mother were being taken to some place inside a big white car, I could remember the face of the driver too. Just a regular, boring dream I thought. I felt nothing special or extraordinary about it so didn't even bother to tell my dream to my mother. Until she sat on my bed in the morning and asked if I could remember the dream I had. I was like yeah, I saw a car... And she told me the rest of the dream, only with slight differences. Like, she knew the color of the car, what the driver looked like and details like that. The only difference was about the place we were being taken to. I was shocked, I panicked. The first thing came to my mind was that I was talking in my dream, mum heard all the details and now she's messing with me, although that is definitely not her kind of thing to do. She said I wasn't talking in my dream, it was just a special experience and she didn't go into details about how she knew we shared a dream. We never talked about it again.

Shared dreaming and shared OBEs fascinate me the most, I used to be skeptical but now I know these are for real. Do these happen when we're sleeping physically close to eachother, like the same room? Do these happen between people with strong bonds only? The people who keep appearing in my dreams, could they be real people?

Have you had similar experiences? Is it possible to share a dream with an internet buddy, how?

      We could go skiing...

      Sweet dreams to all!

I've never had anything similar happen to me, ever. It'd totally freak out if it did though, and as an atheist it'd kind of force me to rethink my life a little bit. haha

As for sharing a dream with an internet buddy, I mean, I don't really know the rules of the 'shared dream world' or whatever, but I guess? WHy wouldn't you? Unless you need to have some sort of attachment with the person you're sharing the dreams?

      That's a good question.
