Wrong, you couldn't be any farther off. LSD does not cause serotonin depletion, it increases the amoutn of serotonin in the brain.
E does the same as LSD, it increases serotonin. It most certainly does not deplete it.

I corrected my first statement and explained the misunderstanding. You obviously just read a little and started arguing. The rest of what I said is correct.

LSD and ecstasy perhaps do increase serotonin production DURING the experiences, and that probably has something to do with the euphorias they create. It is a fact that LSD works on serotonin receptors, and that is what causes the imbalances. However, this overabundance leads to lower levels in the following days and even weeks, MUCH lower levels in some people. The result is severe depression. That is a fact. The right dosage of Prozac can knock out that form of depression immediately. It is due to the serotonin replacement. Prozac may merely be a synthetic inducer of serotonin, but one way or the other, it snapped me out of Hell on Earth more than once as a result of its immediate connection to serotonin replacement. My psychiatrist told me that it is synthetic serotonin. If she was a bit off, at least she pushed me away from suicide. LSD and ecstasy give me exactly the same depression, and the same treatment works like a miracle on both of them.

For some reason, it is difficult to find the same good research on the after-effects of LSD. It probably has something to do with the drug war hysteria against LSD research that was originally an angry backlash at Timothy Leary. I know from my own experience the similarities between the LSD after-effects and the MDMA after-effects regarding serotonin depletion. Hopefully there will be better scientific explanations for this in the future.

I know there is a lot of government propaganda out there, but I didn't misinterpret the depression I had, and Prozac, which does work by raising serotonin levels (I'm not just repeating my psychiatrist's words on that.), very quickly annihilated the terrible depression. I have recommended it to others (even though I'm not a medical doctor... Everybody talk to a medical doctor first.), and it worked extremely well for them too. I'm trying to prevent horrible depressions, partly because another person I know had a suicide funeral this morning (but alcohol related and not ecstasy related).

I love ecstacy. The euphoria you have when you&#39;re on it is just amazing. <sigh> Good times. I wish I knew what the Topic was orginally about, but I guess I can&#39;t since it was deleted.

Well, I live in North Carolina, does anyone know if Hallucinogenic mushrooms can grow here? Oh, and I didn&#39;t know that they can grow on things other than cow dung.

Honestly, sex pales in comparison to the effects of ecstasy. That was the closest thing to heaven on earth I&#39;ve experienced. Going to the realm of pleasure and music forever changed my outlook and purpose. You really dont know what you&#39;re missing. As far as addiction, I had a little problem with it at the beginning but sadly, your tolerence prevents you from going too far with it.

Well...I used to be all about ecstasy...but I think I&#39;ve learned enough from that drug and I&#39;m sorta over it now. I&#39;ve found new and better things...that don&#39;t have the crappy cracked out come downs. Things that are far more enlightening, and less chemical feeling.

Don&#39;t get me wrong though...I think that there will always be a time and place for ecstasy in my future, when I meet that special someone. It&#39;s a drug you really should do with a loved one. I think that married couples should take this drug together like...once a year or something. It opens you up to a place of pure love and understanding and brings you so much closer together.

I know they&#39;re tring to get ecstasy legalized for use in therapy...for marriage counseling and such because of the amazing way it opens up communication between the couple...and I&#39;ve even heard of some therapists who do actually suggest and in some cases provide their clients with this drug. Pretty cool in my opinion...

I used to grow my mushrooms in a closet. As long as all of your surfaces are steryl, you can grow mushrooms on the walls, on the ceiling, and on shelves all the way up. You can grow a lot of them in the space of a closet. I used to give them away as Christmas presents, because if you had mushrooms at Christmas time (in the middle of winter) you were the man.

But right now I&#39;m tired. I will post again in the morning.

Hehe...ok...DON&#39;T ever try ecstasy&#33; It sucks and it&#39;s totally not worth it. Plus it causes prostate cancer. Like...even if you do it once. And I heard that GHB gives you genital warts and uh...heroin makes you bleed out of all your body openings.

On a serious note though...I wanna check real quick to see if this thread is ok before you go posting about how to grow shrooms, etc. I just don&#39;t wanna encourage any discussion that might end up getting anyone in trouble.
