      Predicted the future!

This was a while back but I remember having a dream i was to go to a carnival and an 18 yr. old guy would cross in front of me on roller blades. That weekend, I went to a carnival and thought, this is weird, but I continued. Then, a guy crossed in front of me on roller blades and I though WTF?!?!?!

Has this ever happened to you?

Was it just "a guy crossing before you on roller blades" or was it a deja vu feeling where you recalled the exact situation to the last detail? That is to say, was your dream exactly as it happened in the wake?

of all the dreams I've logged only a sparce few have kind of predicted the future.

There was a young boy (a cousin of mine) who'd run away. He was gone for days. I had a dream about him, that one of my aunts found him and brought him back, an aunt I hardly ever talk to or even dream about for that matter. I think a day or two later she found the boy and brought him here since my house was closest to the area he was found.

That's the only one time that springs to mind at the moment.

Well, that makes one more report of deja vu being dream-based precognition.
For the record: I've always thought that since I became interested in dreams. >.>

You get any dream based precognition yet Merlock?
(just curious since your recall has improved)

It was more of a deja vu feeling. EVERY SINGLE DETAIL WAS THE SAME!!!

Dreams can be interpreted in so many ways. This morning, for instance, I saw the outcome of the Pakcers Giants game. I saw four, then five, and had a very bad feeling. I interpreted it this morning (incorrectly) as touchdowns, and didn't want to mention the bad feeling (Packers' loss). It could've been seen as fourth quarter, fifth quarter (overtime), Packers lose.

      Lawl @ coincidences.

I have atleast 1 matrixmemoris a week (i hate the word dejavu so i invented a new one ) and indeed, upon the moment i get the impulse, i know everything that'll happen within the next 5-10 minutes, and it's quite fun to watch others be like "wtf" by answering someones question even b4 that person states it (had something like this once).

Yes - most of the time I get things via a combination of small synchronocities in the waking state which are tied to my dreams. Sometimes they are bigger and more immediate - I posted on this other forum about having a dream that someone got jumped on and their head blew off. Then I went elsewhere on the forum and found a link someone posted to a video - something involving a blow-up person who got jumped on and the head blew off - leaving a stump just like the one had in my dream, too.

      crazy crazy crazy...

I found out a few months ago a friend of mine was pregnant and was due to go on maternity leave in january....i hadn't spoken to her since.

for some reason, last night, during a dream, i was...watching a big screen, like projections?...a university style one? with my own art work on the screen...suddenly, my friend was rolled in surrounded by light in a wheel chair with her husband...with a foetus in her hand....it wasnt fully developed but very active...but she was unhappy, because the child was 'sick'..i didn't know what with or what had happened.

i woke up thinking, wow that was weird, so i wrote it down.

at about 1pm today i got a txt saying "felix wsa born at 11:29am, coming in at 6lbs 15 oz. mother and baby are doing fine!"

....iv been in shock all day! iv never dreamt of her before either

I have Deja Vu quite a bit. Once when I was a kid, I had a dream that we (my family & I) went to Long John Silvers for dinner and I ordered Hush Puppies. We had never been to Long John Silvers (I'm not even sure I knew what it was) and I ordered Hush Puppies, I was sitting down with my food in front of me and completely remembered that part of my dream.

I told my mom and dad about it, I was so excited and a little freaked out! They laughed at me and told me to stop messing around...that I couldn't have had a dream about something I didn't know anything about I was more than a little hurt that they thought I was lying.

Turns out, I didn't even like the Hush Puppies...or any of the food for that matter...
The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you, the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and be gracious and give you peace.

It has! Personally, I think this dream is either telling you A: You're on the right track, living your life how it was supposed to be lived or B: Trying to get your attention to focus on your dreams more or your psychic abilities if you think you have any.

      Goodluck!

my mom said that she once had a dream that her friend's loft caught on fire, and a while later it did, and in the exact same way. her friends said it as deja vu, but she checked the DJ she had been keeping, and it was there.

      weird...

I've had several dreams like that, where I dreamt it and a few days later or a month it actually happened.
At first I thought I was just having deja vu but I got deja vu so often I started keeping track of my dreams and that's when I realized that it wasn't deja vu.

I agree with DreamLily on both accounts. Ever heard of synchronicity?

I remember one at age of 8... I was in a weird house, with many rocks at the floor and thinking "This silly deja vu I will do something dif so it won't be a deja vu" then I started jumping in the dream and doing silly things and noticed a white/black spider going out of some of the rocks that looked like a continent, 4 years later, when the house were getting a new "style" it was just like that, with the "This silly deja vu..." part and even the spider, it was annoying -.- Or my imagination... it was annoying anyway.

This happens quite a lot for me but i have yet to start a DJ yet so i dont know for sure. but i have 3 distinct memories of "deja Vu". The 1st one must of been when i was in fifth grade, I dreamt i was walking on our schools soccer field at lunch with my friends and they introduced me to a new kid at the school who i had never seen. 2 or 3 months later it actually happens and it was funny right before they introduced i know his name without them telling me. 2nd time was 2 or 3 years ago, and the dream was of me playing the game BS with my cousins at my cabin. The cousin nrxt to me played their cards and i knew to call bs on them b/c that was what happened in my dream and they had to take the cards. And they really did have to take the cards. Now my 3 exp is more recent about a month or 2 ago, i was playing Texas Hold'em on facebook, and i saw the hand i was dealt and all the other players were the same and in y dream i won the hand, so i went all in and quite bit of chips.
so yeah i've been having it for awhile. And those only the big ones. It's also funny i find i have more when im doing new things not as much when it is the usual. Other's opinions?

      Me too

I went through a period of time in my teens in which I had several bizarre dreams/pre-cognitions.

When I was 14, I dreamed I was at the StarTrek convention I was going to get to goto soon. I was standing in a line and I kept getting bumped into and pushed by large men. Then I saw this deformed guy getting picked on in the line. His face was possibly that of a burn victim. Someone was making fun of him and he raised his fist and kept saying "don't laugh at me!" "I hate you!" "Don't hit me!". That was the end of the dream.
I went to Starfest '90 in Denver. Never been to Denver before. I kept getting a very strong sense of deja vu in the hotel. Then I was standing in line to get Jonathan Frakes' autograph. I kept getting bumped into by fat guys. I looked up and I was standing in front of a mens room. I looked straight ahead and I sh!t you not, there was the deformed guy and the exact scene from my dream played out right in front of me. I was in shock. I wanted to say something, but couldn't find words.

When I was 17 I dreamed I was with my guitar teacher in a room to get a lesson. I opened the wood and glass door and the lower right square of glass shattered. That's all I remember of the dream.
Low and behold, my guitar teacher moved to a new house weeks later. I had deja vu, but it wasn't terribly strong and I mostly ignored it. Then after we had completed the lesson in the room, I stood up and started to open the wood and glass door-- but it was difficult to open. I suddenly had strong deja vu and simply froze. My teacher said "oh, here, let me get that door. It sticks and it's tricky.". I looked down and the lower right square was cracked-- but because of the dream I didn't force the door open which might have shattered it.

This one happened when I was about 13. I dreamed I left my body and floated next door to my Aunt, Uncle and Cousin's house. I floated in to make sure my Aunt and Uncle were asleep. Seeing that they were, I floated into my cousin's room. I don't know why. I think I was talking to him. Then I heard a noise and hid. I saw my Aunt float into the room to check on my Cousin. That's all I remember. This was recurring and there was some variations that had my Aunt and Uncle arguing rather than being asleep and I would hide until they stopped.
So fast forward a couple of days and it's Thanksgiving. The family is enjoying the Turkey feast. My Aunt then strikes up a conversation about the strangest dream she had the other night. "I dreamed I heard a noise coming from Sean's room. I them floated out of my body and floated right into his room to check on him!". Again, I was shocked. I said "Oh my god. That's so weird." and proceeded to tell the table about my dream. Of course, they blew me off. haha. But I guess what would one expect? All of this does sound unrealistic and now that I am in my 30s, having never had a single event like this since my teens, I question whether my mind was playing tricks on me.

Wow, that is pretty amazing. I know how it feels to have something happen and nobody to talk to about it. I just ordered a book on Astral Projection. I've done this a few times in my sleep but I'm going to try reading up on it to control it. It sounds similar to what you have experienced. Maybe if you still want these experiences you should look into it?

Also, I never really believed in using crystals...I thought it was all hogwash and people just liked them because they are shiny. But I had some amethyst and clear quartz next to my bed and I remember having ALL of my OBE and astral experiences during that time, and then after moving houses the crystals got lost and I haven't had anything happen since.

I've just ordered some more quartz and I'm going to experiment with this again just to be sure.

Twice have I had dreams relating to the future. Once quite directly, I dreamed very vividly of a certain place (where I had been before) with a massive clock(which I had never seen before) quite conspicuously placed in a window. Two days later, intense deja vu and then "OH CRAP!" as I remembered. The other time I met someone in a dream who I would actually meet a month later. Now I am generally skeptical of precognition and such, not to say that it doesn't exist, but rather isn't paranormal. That is to say it's more of an awareness to details and such that most of us are generally not aware of. I guess what I'm trying to say is: is precognition real and possible? yes. Is it magic? no. However, it's entirely possible I had seen that clock in that place before and didn't remember it, but it seems unlikely given it's unusual size and presence. The other one, well I can't explain so well, except to say applying the future to something you dreamed in the past is much easier than to say the dream I had last night will come true tomorrow. Heh.

One time I was at the mall my two friends, and I saw this girl standing outside this shop, as if she were about to go in it. I had this huge deja vu feeling. Everything was the same. My friends were standing right where they should've. The angles were the same. Then the girl was supposed to go into the store, but, LOL she walked away from it. Ha ha. My friends and I were betting whether she'd go in or not.
I think deja vu comes from dreams you forgot, and something around you reminds you of it. It seems EXACT, but maybe you just forgot a lot of the detail from the dream, so your mind kind of mixed it up, and it seemed the same. Oh, well. It happens.
Probably, if you had a dream about that later happened, maybe using the information you already knew, your subconscious figured out what was going to happen. But it's kind of weird how it's exact.
