Yes, I've actually worked a lot of food service jobs. Still at the bakery for now. :/ I've thought of making that a dream sign, but I get so wrapped up in work/the plot of my dream, it's hard to remember to RC.

I notice that food service and restaurants turn up a lot in your dreams. (Probably because of your job you worked at the bakery). You should make that one of your dream signs.

I had another, very explicit lucid dream, and while I sometimes do a spoiler tag, this time, I really don't think I want to type it out. Sometimes, these dreams get too personal to share online. Sorry, guys.
You know, typing out the violent or sexual stuff never bothered me that much. It's when a dream is personal and you're dreaming about working out family issues or relationship problems that I don't want to talk about.

Thanks, Canis! I am glad for it. I'm not trying to force it, just letting whatever comes to me come to me.

Jade, I'm not entirely sure. I've been trying to stay more aware IWL I guess lately; been doing the nose pinch RC a lot when I remember to. Also been trying not to game right before bed, as this alters my dreams and awareness level. Been reading a lot about spirituality as of late as well before bed instead of gaming. I really do think it makes a difference. I also get more chances to be lucid when I get to sleep in a little more than usual, which helps, though lately my schedule has been a lot of early mornings. All in all, it is probably a combination of factors affecting my LDs. I have noticed that you've been having a lot as well.

Canis-I think they are anxiety/stress dreams. I dream about ruining my sobriety a lot (I used to have a real problem with marijuana--if you are curious about it at all, pm me and I'll be happy to talk to you about it) when I get stressed out IWL. So far though, I haven't ruined it IWL, so that's good.

I realized I was dreaming, and thought to myself how much lucidity I'd had lately. I was thinking I had had some every night. I then started to make this little noise, and I could feel my waking life body breathing out and making the noise also. Oops, making noises in my sleep. I kept on doing it.
I've been having more lucidity than usual as well. I told DawnEye that It was because my MILD was 'snowballing' and the more I got lucid, the more I could convince myself that MILD was working, so I got lucid even more. But why do you suppose you are getting lucid often? Do you know?

Wow, nice, you really have had tons of lucidity lately! That's great, keep it up!

Ha ha, I definitely know this feeling! I'm pretty sure that almost every time this sense of making noises in my sleep is all in my head. In fact, I had a dream last night where I was shouting to get a DC's attention and became so self-conscious of it that I had a false awakening where my wife and I discussed my sleep-shouting.

I'm liking this momentum you have, keep it up!

Nice, congratulations on the triple lucidity! That's awesome! Your flight time in particular was just full of successes, so I'm really happy that you got to have that experience. And your first nose pinch, too! That's a great RC... it has such a high accuracy rate and that rush of air through the nose feels so bizarre that it really galvanizes you into LD mode.

Great technique just "letting yourself float" upward to gain altitude during flight! So much better than resisting something, which is bound to create more problems than it solves.

Dallas then took this long straw-type thing with lube and inserted it into my forearm.
That so did not turn out the way that I expected! Don't worry, I'm sure that he'll make a better choice next time, ha ha...

Very good night for you, congrats on all of that lucidity!

I really wanted it to go quickly so I could go home to the house I grew up in and smoke the little bit of weed I had left. I thought about my sobriety, but had previously already blown it, so what did it matter? I was planning on when to smoke it.
This is really interesting. I recall this coming up in another dream where you actually smoked in-dream and felt like you had ruined your sobriety. So was this feeling of having ruined your sobriety just a carryover from a prior dream memory? If so, it's really cool how those dream plots tied together over a span of days without having any correlation to waking life. (And hmm, my question is kinda personal, so don't feel obligated to answer!)

Agreed with JadeGreen on the spider-birds, cool concept!

      "Sorry baby, I mean Bowser!"
Ha ha, as if it wasn't bad that you first trounced your poor husband at the game, now you're calling Bowser "baby"!

I then was walking on the street and saw all these spider birds; they literally looked like different crosses between spiders and birds. They weren't all in the same area, but scattered about. I remember a black one with a spider's body and a bird's head. There were others, but I can't remember the details.
This sounds like something out of Avatar, the way it is a combination of two different animals.

Yeah! It's like a flawless transition into "real life". I've had the experience where I "reset" if I die or "rewind" if something doesn't come out right.

I was in the middle of this story/movie, but it was real life? Hard to explain.
I've had this happen to me before. Where I watch a movie or play a video game in a dream and it 'becomes' real life. I find that in some sense, It's kind of like being partially lucid. You know that what is happening isn't real, so it doesn't affect you as badly if it's something negative. (Like murderers in an apartment.) You sometimes also have the knowledge that you can stop or reset the experience.

Gratz on the lucidity. Flying can be hard; glad you had a good experience.

For some reason, I didn't see your DJ entry on the feed, and it took me awhile to realize that you actually posted today.

Realized you were dreaming twice in one night! Good job. Regardless of what else happened, that is an accomplishment.

Whoooa, so you get up at 4:35 AM for work?
Usually 4:45am. I have to be at work at 6 some mornings, soon to be 5am more often now too that I'm training to bake. I'm a morning person, but that's too early for me.

Congratulations on the lucid dream! What a cool scenario, too. DisneyWorld is just filled with cool dream locations, isn't it?

I liked you negotiating your remaining dream time down with your mom.

It was 4:35pm. At first I thought it was AM and I needed to get ready to get to work, but I saw the PM and was relieved.
