In dreams, I have something called "Dream Perspective". If I'm looking that a picture or screen and I concentrate on it, it will morph to fill my entire field of vision until I want to look at/do something else. So yeah.
I sometimes find that this goes a step further. For example, if someone is watching a movie, my field of vision will focus in on the movie, and I will become distracted and lose track of 'Reality' and the world of the movie/tv show will become my reality and I will become one of the characters in the movie/tv show. (It works for video games, too.)

GJ on second DJ. More recall than last night.

The teacher conjuring fire actually sounds pretty cool. Just try posting like this for a week or so, your recall will probably pick up quicker than you realize.

Special thanks to JadeGreen for Apprenticing me, at least for the time being!
      Aww, you're too kind...

      Great Lucid!

It's common not to remember all your lucids in great detail, if you had more than one like you did. What I find usefull is to retell my previous lucid or task just before starting another one. That way it commits to your memory even stronger.

Lucid dreams are same as daytime events, and they are saved in our daytime memory. Non lucid dreams are not.

While getting your recall better will help you with recalling your non-lucids, working on your daytime awareness will help you with having better awareness and clarity in your lucids. But I wouldn't worry too much, you seem to be doing great. Congrats!

I know, that's why improving my recall and clarity is part of the next TOTNLD. Also, I'd like to say that I'm particularly excited to do my new TOTM.

Sorry your recall was not better for your dream, but it's awesome that you managed to complete goals. Though, in the future, it's more fun to complete a goal if you can actually remember what happened while you worked to complete it, so you might want to work on your dream recall.

Also, I would like to share my strategy for developing super strength in dreams, at least for the use of lifting a heavy object. I first grab the object (as for the tree, I had to hug it to grab a large enough part), close my eyes, and then as soon as I feel a lifting sensation I open my eyes and due to momentum, I am now able to lift the object.
I remember way back when, my DG showed me a trick to breaking through a wall by kicking it from behind. It was supposed to be easy to do since you were not looking at/thinking about what you were doing.

      Good job .

Well I suppose that that is a matter of personal choice. Myself, I prefer to update my DJ daily because I like having other people read my dreams and talking about them. It keeps me more motivated and actively thinking about LDing. (Though I do preform written autosuggestion and plan my lucid dreams in a notebook.) Whatever system works for you is fine, however.

Ok, I'll keep note of that!

One last thing, I'm just letting you know that although I DO write in my actual dream journal daily, I will only post it on Dreamviews if I can remember at least 2 visuals and 1 "story element". As you can see here, this was much more than just that. Just a heads-up in case you're wondering why I don't post a lot.

Hmm... I think it is best for you to make decisions about what you want to do in your next lucid dream. I could give you a list of ideas a mile long.

Though, being someone who is experienced with dream guides, I would recommend making amends with your guide after accidentally killing them. (I'm gonna let you in on a little truth here, the idea that there are no consequences in a dream doesn't hold true all the time...)

Also, when you reply to comments, be sure 'Like' the comment that you are responding too. I was lucky I caught you, but you could have easily been lost in the sea of DJ entries and comments that I've left/read. It's sort of a secret code on this blog, you leave a 'Like' to notify someone that you are responding to what they have commented/posted and are carrying on the discussion.

Thanks for reading and commenting! Have any ideas on what to do in my next LD?

Wow! I've never seen someone animate their dream before! This is extremely cool! It's good that you're engaged and thinking about lucid dreaming so much. Somebody with your attitude and level of motivation should be great at this.

This looks like it was animated in Scratch. was it?

I notice you dream/focus on what you do on the computer, youtube in particular. I wonder if you could take advantage of this to become lucid...

What do the colors in your color code mean?

      Nevermind I see it.
I threw her into the rioters, who proceeded to kill her with spears. (oops... glad it's just a dream)
Oops. Not a good way to make a first impression on your dream guide.
