      Great experience
I found it best to exercise when I'm going to sleep. There is no annoying alarm at that times OBE is always better then my WILDs, and I do mainly OBE... But... WILD is lucid dreaming and if I want to experience shared dream, then it is in my opinion better to be at the same page with targeted person.

OBE is different... to manage shared OBE would be more difficult.

Once away from body it is safe for me to come back to it even to touch it. More often then not I feel my astral hands on my physical body which I found strange. Maybe it would help you to be more detached in your mind from your body. You are after all your consciousness and not your body.

Interesting... just, the vibrations are optional for OBE. I almost never feel them before or during separation. Also... I don't know how others, but there is big difference if I have WILD and if I have OBE. WILD feels much less... conscious for lack of better word than OBE.

Also clothes are optional. I often don't have them and it doesn't bother me. during my last OBEs I actively disposed them off of me. They distracted me somehow...

Was there truly shared dreambetween you and Ken? Or you and your neighbour?

Thanks DawnEye11! I haven't been getting enough sleep lately to do some serious dream action, hopefully I can get back into the groove soon. Thanks for checking this out!

Hi DawnEye11, I remember that dream you had about your younger brother. It sure is tough to stay calm and cool when something like that happens. Thanks for the helpful comments! I'm planning on DEILDing tonight, but I'm just going to lay low and just observe what's going on. I've also decided to only meet with my daughter in OBE's inside my house (or parents') until I feel my lucids are a safe place once again. Unfortunately those OBE's don't happen as often. But anyway, dream on!

I began to think about asking for my daughter to join me, but I’ve been reluctant about doing this lately, because last weekend a group of four thugs tortured her right in front of me (I’ve been very upset with this since).
D : Aw, that sounds like a horrible dream. I was wondering why I hadn't see you write your dreams as much as you use to. That reminds me of a dream i had about a guy and his friends torturing my younger brother. You just really want to beat up those dream characters when it happens. But don't worry. Your stronger than those dream characters and even if they do something bad they will eventually disappear. Oh and don't forget that your train of thought can effect the dream so if you think of something you have to try and stay thinking positively. It also reminds me of what you commented on the DJ entry. which is in a quote bubble below.

It's hard to keep your cool in a dream when a dream figure is hurting somebody you love, isn't it? I think it's best not to react to it, but that's easier said than done. Those sure are some complex and interesting dreams!
^w^ I can't recall a recent dream where they hurt my brother. So your comment was helpful to keep in mind.

      Hi JadeGreen,
Thanks for checking this out, and for the complement on my recall! The recall is mostly due to the voice recordings I do throughout the night. I'm not sure why I tag my name, old habit!

      Hi SearcherTMR,
Yes, that is from Robert Bruce's book! It's actually been working for me. I've been projecting about twice a week since I've started using this technique. I sometimes project after an LD, but I recently project before (which was pretty cool!). I'm going to look into that Raduga's DEILD, sounds interesting! I'm trying everything possible. Yeah, both my wife and I are really struggling with our daughter's passing. I find it hard not to jump around the house with joy when I have a lucid or OBE with her. I feel like I need to share it with somebody, that's why I dream journal here. Thanks!

Is this routine you describe from Robert Bruce's Astral dynamics?
I used to practice this kind of tactile body-energy work a few years ago but the separation techniques has never worked for me - actually I noticed that it didn't work for you either as a separation procedure -but only to retain consciousness during your WILD.
Raduga's DEILD on the other hand gave results for me from my firsts trials. But overall your practice seems very effective and I need to copy some elements of it...
And yea, this must be quite hard for your wife... If she can't - or don't want to - do this along with you, it might be better not to talk about it with her - no matter how hard this is for you as well...

Awesome recall and lucidity from beginning to end. Your dreams make for such good reading and motivation.

Why do you tag all of your dreams with 'tihiti' though?

Hi SearcherTMR, Lucid dreamers are a very small group of people, and we're very fortunate to have this ability when it's needed the most. Thanks for reading this journal!

      Hi Tihiti!

It's moving to see your joy of reuniting - even for a while - with your daughter!
I know it's not just a dream - you truly connect with her in a deeper level. lucid dreams have wonderful applications from entertainment to healing at multiple levels - this is one of the most valuable ones!
My mother in Law has also lost a young daughter and I see everyday the devastating results that the grief has in her life. I strongly believe that if she knew how to LD, she could be much better now - but she is old and unwilling to try such things...
Keep on being with your daughter and sharing these precious moments!

Thanks for the detail, it's really encouraging to hear that the mantras have such a strong effect!
I must get back into autosuggestion, it's such a powerful dreaming aid.

Hi ~Dreamer~, Thanks for reading this and commenting! I use the mantras primarily for attaining lucidity. My dream recall and memory are pretty good, mostly cause I use a voice recorder and wake up lots during the night. My mantras is always, "I will realize when I'm dreaming, and I will be lucid. I will realize when I'm dreaming, and I will____(dream intent)____." For me my intent is most often to visit with my daughter. I write this mantra out 3 times, and then repeat it over and over as I'm falling asleep or doing a WILD. If I'm driving out to the cabin in the evenings, then I repeat the mantras over and over for an hour. This usually gives me tons of lucids. If I don't do the mantras, then the lucids are few and far between.

      This is so beautiful, Tihiti.
I think I might have said this last time, but I am so glad that you can put your LDs to such great use and be reunited with your daughter.

It's also great that you still ended up having DILDs, even when the WILD and FA didn't go to plan.
I'm all too familiar with those non-lucid dreams where I'm trying to shoo people away so I can have a lucid dream.

I'm not sure how recently you started using those mantras - have they had a noticeable effect on your lucidity/memory?

Hi DawnEye11, Thanks for checking this out! No doubt it's amazing what paralyzed people can do! Being paralyzed certainly didn't stop her from moving around in the dream, but she seemed to think and act like she was paralyzed. My wife got a little jealous in the dream, hehehehe, lol, Btw, doing a WBTB right now.

In this next dream, I was at a shopping mall talking to a pretty quadriplegic, black haired girl (in her 20’s) who was painting with her mouth. I asked her if she always paints with her mouth, and she replied, “Sometimes I paint with my hair”, as she grabs the paint brush and sticks it in her hair.
This reminds me of the time I saw someone on the news painting with their tongue....or was it something else...I'm not sure if they were paralyzed though But its pretty amazing what paralyzed people can do just to live a normal life. : D

. This fellow walks up beside the car and hits me in the forehead with an object (not sure what).
      Well, that was unnecessary.
She then got a sad look on her face, and quickly recovered by saying exactly what I felt, “It’s so very important that we spend time together. I don’t care how much time I spend, or how difficult it is trying to become lucid with you.” Her expression changed to happiness and she said, “Yes!” and I held her in my arms, as we danced in circles, until I woke.
Sounds like a fun dream dance party.~^w^ Also, that was a very sweet father/daughter moment.

Thanks for reading the long journal DawnEye11! Yes, clothes and dreams never seem to do what you want them to do. I told my wife about my ball of light dream, and she looked over her bifocals at me, paused, and then continued typing. Lol, she's not too interested in hearing about all these crazy things I try while dreaming. I think lucid dreaming's a blast!
x D haha I guess she isn't. But its good that you can find it enjoyable. Perhaps if she isn't interested in the healing thing you shouldn't try it on her though. There doesn't seem to be a point in trying it on someone who doesn't want you to.
