Smudgefish

Loads of little fragments today that don't really make sense:

1) Lying in a field, it's warm and mossy.

2) I walked into a room a cat jumped out of the window. I called the cat back and it came to me, it was a grey cat (I keep dreaming about a grey cat).

3) I was walking across a road and went into a building. It was something to do with school. There were lots of parents sat around and I couldn't see any children, everyone looked really quiet and gloomy. I think it was the start of a school disco or something and parents had to come along.

4) I remember watching a film explaining how Stowmarket was the nearest town to a large glacier, the film showed computer generated images of the glacire with Stowmarket perched at one edge of it. Someone was explaing how they used to arrive at the town by train and it was so romantic but now it was routine.

5) Walking into a hospital with someone else who was in a black hoodie he seemed quite serious, the hospital was being rebuilt. The person I was with wanted to find the plastic surgery room, we walked past a door and I knew that was it but he ignored me and walked on and spoke to a builder who showed him a tap labelled 'delivery suite tap', it was tiny and red.

1) In a road looking at a building which appeared a bit unusual. I realise it is an old hospital with an imprint of the new planned hospital on a big frame on material hung around it. I went into the building but can't remember what I did in there, I think I might have thought about dreaming. then I was in a car and I had to get home, I drove north through the city and started heading out on a very long road, I looked at a map and realised it was the wrong direction and turned around, I think I was with other people and said goodbye.

2) I was at the start line of a half marathon. I was with my wife and worried that I was wearing too many clothes, it was my best coat and I knew I would have to drop it off later on during the race. We were called forward to another start line and I was right at the front. It was a false start, I dawdled getting back to the start and got back just as the race was starting again. Now it was a tight funnel and I had to climb in over the top of metal railings, a friend was marshalliing the start and he help people up so I could climb down. I remember looking at my watch and pressing the start button as I crossed the start again.
