A lot of drowning in all my dreams last night, and more cats!!. I will have to look up the meaning of that.

1) Stood on a sea shore with my family. We watched a superyacht near a pier start moving, suddenly it was moving at incredible speed, it turned around, crashed throught the pier and continued in the other direction. We commented that it was just showing off. I noticed the wave from it come ashore and I told my family to watch out. Then my daughter was under the water and drowning - I dived it to rescue her, kept grasping at bits of rubbish but couldn't get her. the dream ended there.

2) Standing by a shallow river. I saw a cat that had caught something. It was holding it under the water to drown it so I went in to rescue it. The cat let go of it, it was a tiny mouse, which crawled up my arm. Then it became a larger mouse more human in shape, I looked closely at it and it was dressed in intricate clothing with a small cloth cap on its head. Then I was digging the riverbank clearing away rubbish as it was going to become some sort of display, then I woke up.

DROWNING: apparently it's about being overwhelmed by difficult emotions (I'm feeling very sad at the moment about animal cruelty and cruelty and selfishness in the world in general and my inability to do anything about it. My daughter drowned in the wave created by a a superyacht presumably owned by a someone very powerful and uncaring).

Competition time!

1) Watching an archelogical dig. A small group of archaelogists was pushed out by a bigger group, it transformed into a massive dig with people camped out and donkeys wandering around. There was a school trip to the dig, I was driving to it and realised I had the wrong clothes I was wearing my best shoes, we each had to do a day out digging then we were coming back for food. I was having meusli and I put water on it rather than milk but it tasted OK. We were coming back from the trip a lady was driving a large white minibus. It parked in a dead end side street we all got out I asked if she neded help reversing but she said no, I commented to someone else that she was a good driver. Then we went into a pub for a drink, I said it's late I'm going back to ahlls of residence everyone else agreed and followed me out. I was with an old friend from university who was very clever - he started explaing something to me but it was way too complicated for me to understand.

2) I was on board Concorde with a group of students from my old university course. We were stood just over the wing section. We had to place a perspex sheet over it so that visitors could view the inner workings. It was explained that this was levelled up with a laser device. We were looking at paper technical drawings and I told someone that the old fashionned way was much better than using computers or a laptop. I put the drawings down on the side. I asked someone about how the wing worked because it folded back, they were a bit annoyed with me because I didn't understand it and it was really simple. A group of us were stood around I sta down with someone and he started talking about rugby.

3) Fragment: In McDinalds. I wanted a chocolate milkshake. had a long discussion with the woman serving about why the milshake amchine wasn't working - it was too warm. I tasted it and agreed and said I would come back later.

4) Fragment: I walked into a shop, looking for a choclate milkshake, there were two women behind the counter that I recognised. One was pouring herself some champagne. I commented on it.

Left it too late to remember much detail:

1) Roller skating, but I was travelling long distance. I came to a massive road junction, I was high in the sky going over a flyover.

2) I was buying a house. Stoon in the kitchen of someone's house. A man that I was buying the house from said something about giving me some money and I told him that I was too honest and wouldn't tkae his money off him.

Absolutely no dream recall last night!!

I was trying CAN-WILD. No dream recall on any of my wakenings.

My dream recall has been almost nil for several days now. All my family have been unwell so I suppose I have been pre-occupied.

This morning I remembered some small details at last:

1) A collegue was telling me that he wanted to start running open surgeries and I remember telling him in detail why it was such a bad idea.

2) I was going to do a finger joint replacement and was worried about damaging the vascular bundle. Eventually I worked out how to do it. I was running through the operation in my imagination.

Found myelf driving a fire engine. I had a friend and her children with me, we had to get to a large exercise of some sort and I thought it would be a fun thing to do. It was the middle of the night. The address we had to get to was on my mobile phone. I asked my friend to read where we had to get to from the mobile phone but all she did was ask why I hadn't checked before we set off and why we were just following the fire engine in front, and refused to tell me where we were going.
I had to stop so pulled off into a side street, then I woke up.

In parkland. I was watching people driving around in 4 wheel drives pretending to take part in some sort of military manoeuvres.
I was then walking off the park when a large Star treck type spaceship flew across and landed. A large crowd of people started gathering including some friends I asked how they heard about the spaceship and it was on TV already. I tried to film the spaceship using my mobile phone but it wouldn't focus and I thought I'm never going to get proof of this. The aliens started showing a film that was really boring and I was expecting something very exciting.
Then the spaceship took off. Next thing I saw it parked up on a remote island, Daniel Radcliff came walking past and said something about it being the second time he had been abducted.
