    Silent Hill

There was a large group of us that were in a bus. Almost convientely, the bus decided to break down and we crashed - right outside of Silent Hill. A group of sixteen of us wandered into the town, but I felt very wary. It was almost snowing outside - it was ash - but the buildings looked to be about half-destoyed and there was not a single person in sight. I wanted to leave the town, but the group convinced me to keep moving on. Eventually we entered a building, and the group got into a small arguement.

Go find residents of this own,

    Or.

    Leave.

I was in full support of the latter option, and did not hesitate to say it. But the group ignored me, and soon they left, leaving me with only five people. A girl clung to my leg and buried her head into the fabric of my pants. A teen, roughly my age, looked at me.

"I don't like this place. It gives me the creeps."

I nodded my head at her, "Good. Hold that close. That'll get us the hell out of here."

"No it won't," Came a new voice. A girl's voice. I turned around and found a very grungy, dirty girl standing behind us. She reeked of power, and I cringed away from it subconsciously.

"The Red God senses sin, and he's moving to deliver just punishment. . . He wants something. Silent Hill is his home."

The town's name. I shivered at the thought of the "Red God." Anything with the name God in the title was not a good sign. As I suspected, this town was filled with creepy people.

"I'll take you to safe haven." I believed the girl - knew I could, on some level - and after a short trek further into the building, she admitted us into a room that just had some tables and chairs. As soon as she closed the door, the building began to shake and everything warped to the Dark Time.

I closed my eyes, because somehow, I'd felt like I'd been here before. Alessa was standing in front of me when I opened them again.

"I can help you leave." She suggested, voice echoing in the caged room we were now in. I nodded my head, and soon the three of us (me, Alessa, and the other teen girl), were talking about the best ways out of Silent Hill. Eventually, however, I felt a shiver crawl down my spine.

Alessa walked over to the door, peeked out into the hallway, and softly muttered something beneath her breath.

"The Red God approaches. We must go. My power and his are evenly matched, and with you, I would not be able to win."

I nodded my head, shuffled the rest of the group through the other door, and as soon as I was about to close it, I got my first glimpse of the Red God. Pyramid Head. I shut the door and ran down the hallway like the rest of my group, and we soon found ourselves climbing up a staircase.

"What's he after? We haven't sinned." I said as I picked up a girl and threw her over my back. She was light, so I was able to run just as quickly. She'd been falling behind.

"He wants something. Craves it. It would tip the balance in his favor. . . I do not want that."

She stopped, and I realized why she had. There was a room, filled with. . . Medical garbage. But everywhere else was blocked off. She gestured for us to get in, and we did. It was digusting, it had used needles, but we did. I hid the girls before I crawled into the garbage, and suddenly Alessa was laughing, frolicking about and singing, "where are they? Where have they gone?"

I heard the screech of a sword as it was drawn close, and my back began to itch. It hurt. I bit my lip and watched as Alessa looked up at Pyramid Head and grinned.

"I just don't know." She said cheekily. He groaned angrily in response before turning away. The fierce pain in my backside relieved itself almost immediately. I groaned in relief.

We were safe - for now.
