    1. Incredible Lucid: Hoverboard, Green Eyes, and Warp Speed! (Feat. Capn Picard)

      by , 08-18-2012 at 09:43 PM
I began in my bed, wearing nothing but boxers and a t-shirt, and I was in a store-- it was a wooden cabin, all one room, and a bar counter on one side. I walked outside into the daylight and stared in awe at how realistic it was. I must have done three reality checks before I finally believed I was dreaming.

I was in a mountainous area. For about a minute or so I just stared off into the wilderness on the side of the road: tons of detailed trees, colorful flowers, and then stared at the scene of the hill-side view across me from the top of this hill.

I finally remembered a couple of dream goals. One was to go nude in a dream, so I stripped down to my skin. These two urbanites (black guys about my age) merely gave me a long hard (hurr) look, and went on. I remembered to try out a hoverboard. I couldn't make the damn thing appear, however I went through the motion of hopping on and riding, and it worked! it was like it was an invisible board. As I reached the bottom of the hill, another guy one a hoverboard (a real one, not an invisible one lol) zoomed past me.

At the bottom this guy with glazed over, green eyes (With NO pupils) walked up to me. I cupped his face in my hand and brought him closer so i could stare at them--they were gorgeous and otherwordly...

I followed the green-eyed one and his friends into the woods at the end of the hill, and things got weird...they climbed up a tree and into this large ( small car sized) walnut and they turned to green fairie-lights and entered the walnut. I climbed up the tree (stopping to admire a couple spider webs that were intricately detailed as well! Fucking awesome dream so far) and when i got to the walnut it was smaller than I expected and I opened it and ate these small fruits inside. as I ate them, they tasted bland, and this story played out audibly in my mind saying

"and they were demons, and like sweets, he was told to avoid them." As I heard it, I spit out the fruit, and it was a mouthful of blood. O_O

Annnyyway, after that I went around a hill and expected a Stargate to be there-- and there was! I couldn't get it to work, but there was a panel on the side telling me the different planets and cities I could go to. As I picked on, Captain Picard showed up to join me (lol)

I got in my impala, which was right next to the stargate, and we took off into this field, and I shifted the gear, each time going faster. Finally I realized we were going up into space, and I shifted one more time and we hit warp speed into space...the feeling of acceleration was INCREDIBLE...

but even more amazing was the visuals my mind gave me for the warp speed...these giant, techni-colored neon bubbles appeared and zoomed past in space...I can't really describe the feeling of awe, but I found a picture that surprisingly give a good idea.

After that, I had a False Awakening where Hugh Laurie, as Dr. House, sarcasticly pointed out that I was still dreaming. Lol

    2. Resident Evil? [Lucid]

      Flee to tranquility

My first memory is of a friend and I getting shot. His condition was dire, and I laid him upon the couch, and turned around to go call an ambulance. I was very conscious, but had not yet realized I was dreaming. I hobbled out of the room and into the hallway of an apartment--what appears to be the second floor.

I remember thinking "Just call 911...," my hand gripping the bullet wound at my lower left abdomen. A twinge of what seemed to be pain shot through my side. I remember reciting my address, preparing for the call to 911... I realized however, as I remembered my address, that I was certainly not at home, and that despite the gunshot wound, I wasn't actually feeling any pain.

Halfway down the hallway, I decided on impulse to make it an action packed dream. I armed myself with a .45 handgun from a conveniently placed holster at my side and ran into the nearest door, ready to fire. I pause, however, as I see two guys stealing from someone's apartment.

I ran up and grabbed the nearest guy in a choke-hold and held my firearm at the other henchman--who I recall had blonde dreads. I was trying to coerce them into telling my what was going on when a man in a trench coat, much larger that the other two, rounds a corner. He was obviously the head-hancho, the brains, etc.

As I was about to interrogate him, he yells at me to get down on the ground as a dark, grotesque figure bursts through a window, sending glass everywhere. He was mostly covered in shadow, but it had a look of raw, decaying flesh-- similar to a zombie or demon, etc. At this point I'd forgotten about my gun and we were running out into the hallway to escape; I had a feeling my little gun wouldn't do much anyway.

But, unfortunately, the dream was destabilizing, and I was losing lucidity, and didn't think to to do anything innovative as I started to awaken.

    3. Where'd everybody go?

      by , 06-21-2011 at 11:12 PM
      (6/21/11)

Kinda fragmented. In short, everyone but my dissapeared. I ended up driving around for what seemed like an hour, just seeing how empty and desolate it was. Eventually they popped back up, and when I asked about the dissapearance, no one knew what I was talking about.

Strange. I did become lucid for a 15 seconds in the end, and I attempted to meditate. I got a crazy body buzz (sleep paralysis) and woke up shortly after.

    4. You're now approaching...the Scary Door.

The Scary Door (no really, it was scary...) (2/1/11)

I woke up in a room that definitely wasn't mine and was immediately lucid. I realized just how vivid it was and sorta took it in for moment. I half ran down the hill of my house and found a ramp that led underground, very similar to a subway entrance. It had fencing all around it. it was very old, and pretty rusty. I opened the first and descended only to find another gate.

After entering the final gate, I noticed that I was half underground. I could just barely see light beaming in from the side, near the top. There were no walls or ceiling, only the earth. I turned to find a massive door, seemingly made of stone, that had carvings all over it. As I approached however, I got a feeling of uneasiness.

I continued however, until I was right at the door. I wanted to open it, but I could not bring myself to; I was getting bad vibes, and felt that something dark was in there. Despite being lucid and telling myself I was the dreamer and in control, the fear was overpowering, and I high-tailed it out of there. I walked to the church that was across the street, but found that I was unable to open the door. I began walking to a car that had a DC, hoping to talk to him, but woke up.

    5. Returning to Dreaming

      by , 05-30-2011 at 10:27 PM
Just started back up on Lucid Dreaming. Figured I'd post some of my dreams from the past year or so.

Going down Town (Sometime last December, when I was practicing LDing during winter break)

This was the first lucid dream I'd had in a while. I was on the top level of a parking garage. For some stupid reason I'd pulled a prank on a cop, and called him names, or something along those lines. He arrested me immediately. I was stunned that he was detaining me simply for pissing him off. I began freaking out immediately, begging him to let me go, but he did not falter. I only received a stone-cold stare.

I thought luck was on my side at this point. As we were driving down town a Train was derailed, and fell off the tracks and landed directly in front of us. We crashed directly into it. I managed to hop out of the car and run a few yards and the cop caught me. Apparently my luck was double crossing me-- even though we'd crash, we were directly in front of the station, and he dragged me in.

The inside of the station was, strangely enough, half police station and half gym. I was at the desk, talking to a different officer, pleading to be released. I gave up, but not before a few snide remarks at the officer.

I was looking around, considering escape, and saw some other people on benches, and a guy running on the track of the gym-side. I became lucid as soon as I saw this girl. She was dressed in some sort of modern indian clothes. Half jeans, half leather with tassles, and a couple feathers. She had a faint smile, and was looking directly at me. I had a distinct feeling that she was there, yet NOT part of the dream's scene at all. (I've assumed that this was my dreamguide)Her presence soothed me, and gave me clarity, and I realized I was dreaming.

I got too excited to actually speak to her, and instead tried to fly around. Yet, I found that as I flew out of the side of the building, I actually warped back INTO the building from the opposing wall. Just like on Asteroids, the old arcade game. I was trapped, and shortly after woke up...

After this, I managed to DEILD, and was enveloped by an image of my old church, under construction however. I woke up yet again, but this time it was a False Awakening. I was in a combination of my freshman dorm room and my sophomore dorm room.

I realized I was dreaming when I looked at my clock. I jumped up and flew through the building yet again, but as I did the dream began deteriorating. I was left in a WILD-like state with incredibly vivid hypnagogia. It was a lot like an acid trip. And I thought I woke up.

I had another FA, but I missed it this time =/
