The professor assigned an assignment where the entire third floor of the building was set up as a hospital of people with fake injuries and the students in the class had to practice doing procedures on the patients. I accidentally wandered up to the third floor before it was time to do the assignment but it was more like a haunted house setup with scary characters. I saw something scary and turned the other way to go back to the second floor and then noticed that there were a lot of people lying under sheets that I hadn't noticed before.

I went to buy tickets for a small concert on campus. My car was parked somewhere else kind of far away where it wasn't supposed to be parked so I thought about spending the 2 or 3 hours before the concert started walking to my car to drive it to a parking lot closer to the auditorium. But instead I just decided to go into the auditorium and wait for the concert to start because I didn't know if I would actually have enough time to get my car back before the concert started and I didn't want to miss the first part.

In the auditorium there were other people already seated for the concert and there was a pre-show that was audience volunteers doing things on the stage. I saw a pool in the middle of the stage with kayaks in it so I volunteered because I thought I would get to kayak. But when I volunteered, the person started explaining a game that me and the other volunteers were going to play. First we had to lift some weights. Then we had to retrieve an item from a bag of other items. Then people started bringing out a table and explaining more game rules and it was getting complicated and I didn't know if I could do it all.

And I just remembered that somewhere in between the other dreams my cell phone was malfunctioning like it had been cut off of the cell network or something and I had to put in a password to get into it but I didn't have a password for it. Then it eventually started working and I was using it like an mp3 player to listen to music. But it stopped working again.

I went to check into a hotel with my boyfriend and he told the person at the check-in desk that we were staying there for the whole weekend but I thought we were just staying for a night and I was stressing because I had something important to do like play some Mortal Kombat character and it was really important for some reason.

Then I was younger and in a class but it was an outdoor class and I couldn't pay
attention to the teacher because I was looking behind me at the beautiful scenery, a tall mountain and a sunset. The boy behind me passed me a picture. It was a picture of the mountain and sunset. Then the boy started saying really nice things to me that I liked and I was falling in love and then we were lying on a couch. I lay my head on his leg as I realized I was going to stay with him and love him forever. Then he moved up beside of me, lying beside me on the couch and I put my arms around him.

But then something weird happens, like I am eating, but in reverse, so food is coming up my throat and turning into solid food in my mouth and I try to swallow it down but I am choking and everything is ruined and I wake up.

Then I am with my boyfriend. We are near our apartment complex but it is different. There is a solid cement ground and a solid cement wall and my boyfriend is very drunk and yelling at some woman in the distance so I make him stop. I thought he was really going to embarrass himself. But then I wanted to see what happened if he told the woman what he wanted to tell her so I tried to encourage him to keep on yelling but he wouldn't do it.

I had a bunch of other weird dreams that I took mental notes of but then I fell asleep and lost them.

The tv weather station started reporting strange news, that there was a 200 ft. lizard stuck in the wall of someone's house, among other things. (IRL the tv was on a weather station with a weather radar map and a robot-sounding voice reporting the weather.) I went into the kitchen and stood in front of the microwave as I ate some ice cream.

Then I very briefly woke up in bed, thinking that if I hear strange news being reported again I will know that I am dreaming because the weather station only reports weather, not news. I fell asleep again.

Then I convinced a bunch of people to go on a road trip to Colorado with me, among them some former classmates and teachers. They weren't friends, but just random people who wanted to go and then I convinced them to definitely go. I usually don't like big groups but I was planning an expedition so I needed a group.

We all drove to the meeting place. Everyone showed up with their kayaks like they were supposed to. Awesome. Then we are all kayaking on the river in a very pretty place. It is like a canyon with gray, jagged rock walls and a lot of evergreen trees.

The next thing I remember we are all sitting in a circle on the grass passing around a lighter and burning a hole in our clothes. The guy beside me burned a hole in his blue t-shirt so that his nipple would poke out. I was wearing an old denim jacket that was too big that my mom bought from a charity sale or something so I didn't care about burning it. I burned a hole in the left sleeve near my wrist. The denim was thick so I had to hold the lighter to it for a while to get a hole and it made my arm really hot. I finally got a little hole but it ripped into a bigger hole but I thought it was cool and I felt really fashionable.

Then we are all near a road surrounded by trees. Everyone got into vehicles but I didn't have a vehicle so I was walking on the road trying to catch up. Then there were tree branches in the road that I had to duck under and there were zombies. I had to kill a zombie that was in my way. I had to hit it three times for it to fall down and then stomp it in the face two times for it to die. Somehow a few people on the expedition died.

I finally found the others. A woman was in her truck on her cell phone telling someone that she was with dangerous people. Then an army tank showed up and people started getting into it.

I just remembered part of a dream. I think it is from last night.

I was in a fancy grocery store carrying a basket around. It was crowded. There were several people pouring out free wine samples out of teapots. Everyone was so happy and drunk because they were getting wine samples from all the stations. There were so many different flavors of wine and I was thinking about buying some.

I was preparing for a sleepover with my nieces and their friends. There were two campers that we were going to sleep in so I guess we were camping and I realized I didn't want to have a sleepover with them but it was too late.

I was raking up something nasty. I think it was small pieces of dead, burnt animal carcass.

I was at the beach preparing for an ocean kayak race. Some person was showing the group the formation we were supposed to take before the race began. As we were loading up the kayaks I wondered if mine was stocked with food in case I got lost in the ocean.

I was at the beach playing in the ocean. Some kids were there playing in the ocean too. A big wave swept over me and I started doing back flips in the wave and though I wasn't under for long, I couldn't hold my breath anymore so I found my way to the surface. I wanted to jump off a high cliff to land deep into the ocean but I thought there would be a shark.

Then I wanted to go skimming but I didn't have my skimboard so I decided to walk to a nearby beach store and buy a cheap one. But I wasn't where I thought I was and there wasn't a beach store within walking distance. I drove to a grocery store and looked for a skimboard but there wasn't one in there. Then I thought there might be a skimboard in the trunk of my car but I looked and there wasn't one. Being at the beach without a skimboard happens to me a lot in dreams so it might be a dream sign.

I went into a pretty blue building in some other town. There was a sign outside that said free bottle of wine and I think it was a promotional thing to get people to buy more wine from the wine shop. But when I went inside there was not really a free bottle of wine. The wine was free but I had to purchase my own container to put it in and some of the containers were $6 and I didn't buy a container for the free wine because the sign was deceiving and the containers were no good.

The shop had other things so I got two bars of soap. One bar of soap was bright yellow. When I went to the counter to purchase the soaps the woman asked if I wanted to hear about their other offers and I said yes even though I really didn't want to. Then she tried to sell me Christmas cards. She was trying really hard to sell me those Christmas cards. She even wrote messages in them for me and then held them up for me to read and asked me questions about how I liked them. Even though I had no intention of buying any Christmas cards, I let her show me at least three Christmas cards because she seemed so nice and I couldn't think of an equally nice way to say I didn't want to buy any Christmas cards so I was relieved when I woke up.

I remember only fragments. There were some images of random women eating junk food. Then there were three identical model-looking women at a table, sitting side by side, eating small bowls of junk food.

Next I remember finding a bag of soybeans in the refrigerator. I thought they were supposed to be in the freezer but I think maybe they have thawed out and I can eat them now. I start eating the soybeans but they are not good cold and are not thawed all the way.

Then I went to the movie theater with my boyfriend. It must be a movie theater in a mall because on the way to the theater we pass by a cute dog shopping with people. It's not big, but it is like a medium sized dog with white and brownish-orange fur. It's fur isn't long but just kinds of sticks out a little bit and is soft and silky. I tell the dog it is cute and then look to see who the dog is with and it is two women who are busy shopping and looking at clothes. One of the women is holding the dog's leash.

Later me and and my boyfriend pass by the dog again, but it is just with one blonde-haired, tall white woman in her 40's. The dog breaks the leash and runs. The woman is frustrated as she is holding up the piece of the leash. My boyfriend goes to help the woman with the dog as I walk into the theater.

Before the movie starts there is a pre-show. There are three boy singers. I call them boy singers because they look like they belong to a boy band but they are solo singers and they are not boys but either teenagers or in their early twenties. Anyway, they are not a group but are doing a collaborative singing performance. The theater is kind of crowded. I am wearing a black mask over my eyes and am wondering what people are thinking about me, like if they are thinking that I have eye injuries in both eyes and if they are wondering why I am coming to watch a movie if I can't see it. But I actually can see it because I peek out from under the mask and eventually take it off. (IRL I was wearing a black sleep mask while I was sleeping but in the dream didn't find it odd at all that I was wearing it in the movie theater.)

The movie starts and it is some kind of Rugrats Christmas movie. It didn't seem like the kind of movie my boyfriend would want to watch. The movie is not all on one big screen but on two smaller screens on two different walls. After some time the screens turn off. A chubby white woman with puffy, curly, blonde hair walks in and says something about how someone is in the wrong theater. It is me. I walked into the wrong movie theater and my boyfriend must have told the movie theater people I was lost. They say my name and I raise my hand but then feel silly for doing that but I think no one notices so it is ok. I wait a little bit and then walk out of the theater. Later I check my email and my boyfriend has sent me a picture that he drew. It is a very pretty picture and the message says that the picture was inspired by the raccoon retreat.

Then the last dream I remember is having a map out planning a trip but the map is wrong because the states are in the wrong places. I am wanting to go somewhere near the coast. The map has lines and colors and I am wondering what the lines and colors mean. The colors are temperatures and I think the lines are elevation but that doesn't seem right.

I was standing by the kitchen table in the apartment. My boyfriend wanted to go get wine but I said we were both too drunk to go get wine and we had already drank enough gin and vodka.

That is all I can remember and that one was a dream that seemed real because it was kind of consistent with recent waking reality (I was in the apartment drinking gin before I fell asleep) but I asked my boyfriend about this and it didn't happen IRL.

I just recovered a dream fragment from my memory.

I was in a locker room. It was a large, brightly lit, rectangular room with a white, square tiled floor. Each floor tile was about 10 inches, so they weren't really small tiles. Either it was a co-ed locker room or it was a men's locker room but the men just let the women use it because there were two guys in there and a woman was in one of the stalls. And I was in the locker room but I must have been hovering in the air because I could see the woman in the stall changing from above. The woman walked out of the stall and the two guys were standing nearby talking and one of them just glances at the woman and then continues talking to the other guy.

Wow. I just remembered another dream from last night. I was in a cookie shop where there were cookies in trays like a buffet of food but it was just cookies. There were different sized bags for different numbers of cookies. I got the five cookie bag and I was trying to decide between a chocolate oatmeal cookie and some other kind of cookie for my last cookie but I accidentally ended up with two extra cookies but I was embarrassed to put the cookies back but I was also embarrassed about having extra cookies in the five cookie bag. I went to the cash register to check out and then I think some kind of catastrophe happened and everyone just left with their bags of cookies.

There was a white building, to be entered by one person each day, alone, to solve a puzzle. The solving of the puzzle involved finding items in the building and putting them together somehow to create some part of a message. It wasn't like a jigsaw puzzle but it was like solving a mystery. The outside of the building looked like a white church but the inside was more like a house but it didn't have much stuff in it. While I was in there I felt like there were demons or little ghosts following me and I felt like I would be doomed or die if I didn't solve the puzzle for the day.

Then the next day my mom was in there and I was outside playing on some parallel bars with some kids and other people and I was worried about my mom being in there because of the demons but my mom came out and she was fine. One day a different woman went in to solve the puzzle and she had to go on a conveyor belt through a machine that tattooed her with weird tattoos that were supposed to help solve the mystery. I went in one day and found little vials and I thought I was going to have to drink poison but the vials just had words on them that I had to match up with words on other objects. I began to wonder if the demons were just in my imagination and it was just a game, but I was still a little scared. On several consecutive days I would walk into the building to do the puzzle and there would be a fat woman naked on the toilet and I would be embarrassed and walk away and would be annoyed because only one person is supposed to be in the building and I wanted to do the puzzle but she was already in there wasting time when she should be in there doing the puzzle.

In a different dream I went back to my room at my parents' house. It was different. Instead of being one, big, empty room, it was two little rooms connected together with a bunch of my stuff in there. It wasn't a mess, but just looked like I had been doing things in there and then suddenly left for a long time. I think in the first little room I had my own laundry room because I started picking up some of my clothes and putting them into the washer.

I don't remember much. First I was at a creek with a bunch of people playing and swimming in the creek and it was warm for December. Then I was at a church dinner and the plates were all served with marijuana leaves as garnishes.

I know I had other dreams but I was distracted with taking care of Kitty in the middle of the night because one time she was lying on my back making me too hot and another time she threw up on me.

I was behind my parent's house smoking a cigarette, drawing the smoke way into my lungs but then I became concerned about my health so I stopped inhaling the smoke so much.

(Smoking cigarettes may be a dreamsign for me since I don't usually do that IWL.)

Then I was in my apartment doing laundry with and talking to a guy from my class who I have never actually spoken to IWL. He told me about his friend peeing in cups at some other guys house and then I told him about my boyfriend peeing in beer bottles.

I was in the woods behind a house where I used to live. A creature came out and told me to make my way to the red building. It was dark and I couldn't see and I had to make my way through the woods to the red building even though I didn't want to. I told the creature I didn't know how to get there. I couldn't see anything. Everything was black but I was instructed by the creature to continue moving. I had to push branches out of the way the whole time as my body seemed to be moving by a force out of my control.

I eventually made my way to a red tent. I was instructed by the creature to reach inside. I reached inside and found a key. Then I went underground, down some cement stairs, and through some underground tunnels until I was in an underground room under a hospital. In the small room with white walls there were some of my family members, both alive and dead ones, and some other people. The dead ones looked alive and as normal as the alive ones. The family and other people just hung out and talked and decided to meet again. I told my mom about the tunnel and we would go there and bring other members of the family down and show them how the people were still alive (although they were actually still dead and couldn't leave the white room) and they would be happy to see each other again. We planned to have a little party together and we were going to bring some food even though I think the dead people couldn't eat but some alive people were coming too.

A man in his twenties walks into a shed near my grandpa's trailer. In the shed, sitting on a couch, is a dead man with his head decapitated, sitting next to his body. He is one of the dead people who is still alive; he can move his head and body and think. He is evil. The first man has come to the dead man wanting to make some kind of bargain with the dead man. But after hearing the dead man's side of the bargain, the other man doesn't like it because he has to chop off his arm and give part of his soul or something and he tries to leave but the dead man is mad and invokes some kind of supernatural powers and the other man can't get out of the shed.

Then there are men are outside of my grandpa's trailer with guns. One of them is the man that tried to make the bargain with the dead man and the other is a man that was already in the shed with the dead man when the other man arrived. I am inside, along with a man and my grandpa. The man notices the men with guns and tries to figure out what to do. My grandpa is somewhere else and doesn't notice the men outside with guns. Then the door and part of the walls are made of glass and my grandpa is in front of it. My cat Kitty is outside the door scratching and trying to get in but I can't let her in. The men with the guns see my grandpa and are about to break in and shoot but then they become distracted.

In the front yard, the man who made the bargain with the dead man was attacked by the supernatural powers of the dead man (who was still in the shed). One of his arms was ripped off at the elbow and a leg ripped off at the knee. As if on an invisible, giant fishing pole, a black hoodie with white letters on it floated through the air and was presented by the dead man to him. The man was on the ground. He got an erection that broke through his jeans and started masturbating. People with colored animal masks showed up and started singing a happy song in the yard.

I arrived at the mechanic in a big rig truck with a trailer on it. (My car was also parked next to the truck for some reason). On my cell phone I called the mechanic office from the truck. The woman answered the phone asking what I need help with. I began to try to tell her but I hesitated, stuttered, and faltered (I was thinking that the penis of the truck needed to be cleaned as I imagined a metal penis sticking out of the truck but I knew that wasn't the technical terminology for it so I was embarrassed and didn't know what to say); then the woman said something like "Hold on a minute." She had a call on the other line from someone who was staying in a hotel room above the mechanic office (because it was a hotel/mechanic combination). Then I could hear the conversation on the other line. The man on the other line said something like "She's razin the kids!" (Then I could see what was going on as if I were there) The office woman looked concerned as she ran up the stairs and opened the hotel room door. I didn't know what was going on so I guessed someone was up there cutting kids with a razor blade.

I thought about just leaving but I didn't know how to get the truck back out of the parking space. I called my boyfriend to ask him what needed to be fixed on the truck. As I was making the call my boyfriend arrived. There were men directing a small line of cars to where to park since the truck was taking up so much space. My boyfriend got out of the car and I walked over to him and said "What did you say needed to be fixed on the truck?" He said the (something) joint needed to be fixed. (I can't remember exactly what he said).

I began to wonder why I was the one driving the truck, why my boyfriend wanted me to bring the truck to this little mechanic instead of having the truck company come out and do the repairs. Then everything was starting to not make much sense because neither me nor my boyfriend drive a big rig truck. I should have realized I was dreaming but I just woke up.

In the dream before that one I was at a job interview applying for some kind of public heath job. The employer gave me a folder with a lot of papers in it about the job, which made me feel confident that I might get the job. Then he told me that a lot of women have went insane doing this job. That was discouraging but I decided to try to act like I didn't care and tried to act like I knew what I was talking about and that I could handle it because I really needed the job.

The next thing I know I am sitting uncomfortably close to the employer on a couch as he is trying to bring up job training videos on his tablet. Then I notice his daughter is on the other side of him with her head on his shoulder and it is all just weird.

For the next dream I can only recall pieces. I am at my parent's house (I think) on my laptop trying to do something and the computer keeps getting stuck on a scam search engine page. So I just close the laptop and open up my other laptop and it gets stuck on a scam search engine page too so I close it and stack the laptops on top of each other because I don't want anyone to see the scam search engine pages.

Then I am sitting in a small stadium type of place with my nieces and some of their little kid friends. One girl asks me if I knew this certain guy from high school and I was embarrassed because I didn't want people to hear and I just said that I am too young to know him from high school because he is way older than me.

I was at a table in a department store and I wanted to put a tablecloth on the table.

My boyfriend's mom randomly showed up at the apartment. I was embarrassed and it wasn't completely cleaned. She started looking around at everything and even opened the refrigerator. I was trying to pick up some dirty clothes from the living room. She started folding blankets and wanted to put them in the dresser and I had to open each drawer to show her there was no room. She showed me a picture of a random boy and said me and my boyfriend can have kids together; they will be pretty. Me and my boyfriend looked out the window while his mom was doing more nosing around the apartment.

I was wondering what time it was because I had to go to class.

I was staying in a chain hotel in Colorado. The hotel was surrounded by woods. I stayed for a few weeks and went outside each day to a place between two large trees. There was a religious statue of a man with his hands in the air. There was a human size doll with brown hair and a brown beard propped up against a tree. There was some snow that eventually melted. I had collected the things during my stay.

In the woods there is a family of a man, woman, boy, and girl. The girl has prepared for the family some kind of brown alcoholic drink that is in large mason jars in a tub of water over a fire. The boy questions whether or not there is enough alcohol in it to get them drunk. The girl shrugs.

I am in my car, a rental, and there is a fat woman in my car that I don't know and I don't know why she is in there but she reaches into the back seat and starts reading a paper. I am annoyed because I think she is reading my personal medical document so I take the paper and look at it. It's ok because it is just the stapled blue papers with the results of my research in the woods. There are several pages of blue paper with tables of chemical symbols and descriptions of different plant chemicals.
