    Wandering in Dream Debris.

I've began taking silene capensis because its said to help with making dreams vivid and to increase dream recall. While I haven't felt the strong effects of it yet (as it's said to take up to 3 days), I do believe I'm starting to notice little hints of it in my dreams.

The most memorable of the fragments I had last night was one in which I saw a scene of a married couple having a casual conversation. It was odd to me upon waking because rarely are my dreams not about me, the majority of them tend to be about me in very normal and boring social settings. This dream however didn't involve me, I was just watching, as if I was watching a movie or show on TV. I even remember laughing at some DC's that were having discussions with each other. At one point however, the woman give her husband a red and shiny one wheeled motorcyle as a gift. His expression said everything, as he hopped on with a huge smile on his face. Here's a doodle of what it looked like:

This is when the dream sort of changed and I took over the DC's body, though not quite becoming entirely lucid, it was still an interesting experience. I remember squeezing the motorunicyle between my legs and thinking "this must be what it feels like to sync with those animals in Avatar" because I felt a telepathic connection with the cycle, and felt it moving in whatever direction I would think of.. I, or he rather, jetted off on his cycle leaving behind a huge red light trail, similar to the bikes in Akira or even Tron Legacy. At this point I quickly lost that small bit of lucidity, and just watched him ride around with joy.

      Great sketch, good drawing skills!

How are you taking the silene capensis? I know it is an easily grown plant from south Africa. It would be great to grow it and use it as it has been traditionally used, how ever that is.

Great drawing. You know those bikes exist IRL?

Im not familiar with silene capensis, but have experimented with Calea zacatechichi for dreams in the past (without much luck).

@ Caden: Thanks! I actually have a thread that I'm logging my experiences on if you wanna check it out. Though I'm only on day two and have been mixing my methods of preparation, so the log might be boring for another day or two. (usually it takes about 3 days before its effects begin to take effect). I couldn't get the traditional method to work, which is mixing it in water which causes it to foam, and then you eat as much foam as you can until you feel full, then wait about an hour before breakfast; also you gotta take it on an empty stomach. I couldn't get it to foam, but I spoke to someone with lots of experience with the plant and he said that even if it doesn't foam, the dose still works if you just drink the water with the powder mixed in, so that's what i'm gonna start doing tomorrow morning.

@ LostOnTrains: Whoa thats awesome, I had no idea they existed! lololol. Mine didn't have a handle though which was a bit unnerving at first, but then I had that weird telepathic connection with it and it felt awesome. It was in my control for a whole 5 seconds before the DC knocked me off of lucidity and took off with it haha. And yeah I heard about Calea too, but heard Silene Capensis seems to have better results with people, it's just not as popular for some reason.
