I plan on writing a piece on it. Generally any substance I try I write a DJ on it with some information Will post it tomorrow anytime before 12:40!! Thank you though for letting me know about your experience. Did you use 100mg before you went to sleep?
yup, 50 mg x 2, but I'm like 200 lbs
Ah ok! I'm like 50+ pounds less, so I'm not sure if I should use 100mg or not. I read it's not really all that safe to pill split and I have 100mg tablets. Maybe i'll try it anyways considering most people take 300mg a day. They're not time released or anything, though.
I should add it says this on the bottle (although, I do understand it's different dosing because I'm doing it before bed): ---- Take 1 caplet, 3 times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start dosing at 1 caplet, 2 times daily and slowly increase to 3 times daily over a 2 week period. Use for a minimum of 1 week to see beneficial effects. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond one year. ---- I'm a little afraid of the side-effects of taking too much 5-HTP though. Most people have taken 100mg before bed so I guess I should just go for it anyways and hope for the best.
I ended up taking around 60mg of 5-HTP with no side affects or change in my dream state. I'll try 100mg tonight, as well as b6 throughout the day.
I usually just have 100 mg B6 with canned fish or chicken breasts before bed. Seems to work well.
