    1. Wooho! Another lucid! [Lucid!]

      by , 08-09-2013 at 04:22 PM
Yerp, believe it or not, this is my third this week.

It started off with me in my driveway with my brother. We were looking through my telescope at stuff, and then I noticed that everything was glow-in-the-dark. Trees, him, lamps, all of it!

It was beautiful. All those colors swirling around.

Then I realized, this isn't normal! I did a quick series of reality checks and confirmed, yes, this was a dream. Luckily, it didn't freak out like the last one, it was pretty stable already.

I figured that these colors was enough for me, and instead of all your normal lucid dreaming shenanigans I just decided to enhance these colors. I imagined the colors being brighter and more swirling and beautiful than ever before, then blinked.

And BAM! My whole vision was covered with swirling red neon yellows greens... They were all dancing around each other in a flurry of light and color.
      It was great.
      But then,

      I woke up.

    2. Moon rising too fast, almost lucid!

      by , 07-13-2013 at 12:54 AM
      OH quickly, write down details!

Moon rising fast, pole with bucket, climbing pole with bucket, star party, venus, questionable reality, hills, cousin's backyard...

Ok that should be enough. Sorry, I just recalled a dream I had tonight, had to write it down fast. So.... here's the full thing:

      Length: ~ 1 hour
      Type: Non-lucid

It started out in my cousin's yard. Their house wasn't there though, the only thing there was a pole with a bucket, I climbed up it and swung around in the bucket. The people that were there with me, were:
My neighbor Jerry and one of his hillbilly friends
My brother (who didn't enjoy this)
      My mom

We were in the middle of what Jerry likes to call a "star party". We basically get out at night, take some homemade telescopes, and go right ahead. We were doing that for a couple hours when I started thinking "Man its getting late, this will ruin my dream recall, but its worth it!"

Yes, I thought about dreaming in a dream.

After that the one most memorable thing we looked at was a globular cluster. I had seen the exact some one in waking life, and it looked the same.

Then the sun started to rise. Well, not really, but when the sky turned pink-ish the Moon began to rise. Only it raised very fast. I think this is because I had watched a time lapse of the Moon rising before I went to bed, so it was in my mind. None the less, I began to question the reality of this all, but then dismissed it (I should've done a reality check god damn!). After that...

      The dream ended.

    3. Alaskan dream numero uno! The only one I might add.

      by , 07-12-2013 at 05:17 PM
      Length: ~5 min
      Type: Lucid

I was in some sort of generic warehouse. With brown boxes stacked high. At the top there was a window. I was walking with some other guy towards them. I didn't get a good view of him, until I stopped to tell him I was dreaming, like I always do. He had brown whiskers all along his face. He had brown-ish black-ish hair too. He reminds me of this guy called Steve, who used to be my language arts teacher in like, 3rd grade. I told him I was dreaming, then decided I would try flying. Either I was nervous about it, and that's what caused me crashing, or its just my first time, either way, I was aiming for the window to do a sort of superman "coming-through-window" sort of thing, but I hit just to the right. I flew halfway through the wall, then woke up.

How I became lucid, was through doing a random reality check. Almost forgot that.
    4. I don't even know anymore...

      by , 06-21-2013 at 04:30 PM
      What... the HELL just happened.

      MEMORABLE
      Length: ~1 hour
      Type: ?

It started with me talking to my friend from High School. We were talking about lucid dreaming stuff. We then sat down next to each other and fell asleep. Then I was in (what I thought was) his dream.

It was him on a raft, then he flipped around and jumped into the sea. This happened over and over. I asked him why, and he said he didn't know. He started showing me the way of his dreams, like why he started dreaming, what he hopes to do, blah, blah.

      *Cut! Next scene...*

It looked like a line for a popular ride at an amusement park. People were lined up in a line. I then realized why I was here. I jumped around screaming I'm in a dream! Surprisingly this didn't cause any distortion in the dream. (Maybe because it wasn't mine in the first place, but how could that be, the first dream was mine, that's the dream this dream is inside of?) I did all the reality checks I could remember and they all worked like a charm. We were climbing up a hill on the side of a beach, when I asked him why he dreamed the same place over and over. He told me that it looked just like the posters on his room. He couldn't help it.

      Dream ended.

Really, I have no idea. But I'm starting a thread on this to see what everyone else thinks.

      Sweet dreams.

    5. Candles (A novel)

      by , 06-20-2013 at 08:28 PM
Hello all, tonight I had a very long dream, so it might look more like a novel to y'all.

      Anyways, here it is:

      MEMORABLE
      Length: 1 day
      Type: Non-lucid

It started out in a house, all the cupboards had tar in them. I wanted to take a shower, so my mom told me to get the shower ready. I pulled cleaned it out and everything, and there was a door inside the shower. I threw the curtain out, and on it, it had clouds, it was like a generic sunny sky, on a curtain.

After that I went walking around town (it felt like we had moved), I found an airbase and walked towards it.

*I'm not sure what happened, I think I don't remember the transition, but maybe its two dreams? I dunno, anyways I skipped over time*

Two grown men that looked like they were miners were standing in front of me, one had blond hair, the other had short stubby black hair. The one with the blonde hair was holding a birthday candle, I asked him why, and he told me the rules of the place: "Before we go on our flights, we have to light a birthday candle with the number of the flight on it, then give it to our partner, if he can't light all the candles in time, I get tortured"
I was confused in many ways, but before I could ask, his partner quickly took it and lit all the candles. The blonde man let out a breath.

Then they held me a candle, I turned around and there was a girl behind me, she looked like she was in high school or something, they told me she was my partner.

And no, I did not. Don't ask me about that.

I struck a match on the cart we were standing around. Put it on the candle and then gave it to her. She tried to light all of the candles, but she failed. I looked at the men in front of me and they just looked back at me. I didn't dare to look back at that girl. The track in front of me (behind the two men) split into two. Two soldiers came down each track and grabbed hold of me.

      *Memory blindness*

I was looking at two men. One to my right looked like he was on the end of his line, and the one to the right looked fresh out of College. The old man held the younger one a candle with the number "8" on it, and he said "This candle will be the end of me". The younger one said nothing with a look of despair on his face, and he quickly lit all candles. The older man looked relieved. I had a candle with the number 9 on it, I handed it to my partner, and she lit all candles this time.

      *Memory blindness*

I was flying in some sort of plane, it was a sunny day with a few clouds in the sky, and I was pointed straight up. There was a radio in the cockpit and it cracked, a voice on it said in a muffled tone "There's a-uh hole in the clouds, go ahead up on it" I amused that was what I was pointing at, I suddenly warped upwards into space, with stars and the moon to the right. I started to question the physics of that little maneuver. After I did that, I woke up.

      My ranting:
I have had two dreams that are fairly long, and this one long extremely vivid dream, within two days. I think my dreams are getting better by the day, and now I will stop focusing on dream recall, and start focusing on becoming lucid in those dreams.

      Sweet dreams.
    6. My first quality Lucid dream!

      by , 06-13-2013 at 04:49 PM
      MEMORABLE
      Length: 1 hour (total)
Type: Lucid (half lucid half not lucid)

I was talking to my friend Josh from middle school (in my middle school, even though its summer). He was saying something, but I can't remember what. I then remembered in the dream, that I had just WILD'd (first successful WILDing!). So I told him this
"Bro, this is a dream, I can do whatever I want, because its not real."
He gave me his usual "your crazy" smile. The dream started to go fuzzy, as if I were losing it. The whole halls were bending around like I was spinning, and I tried to stop thinking and look at my hands to stabilize my dream. I couldn't, I had fell asleep ON my hands. I tried to not focus on much without closing my eyes, it worked.

After that, I started walking about and testing some lucid dreaming control, the most memorable was trying to turn a guy into a teddy bear because he was being a bully to me once, but he turned into paper instead. I was sitting on a bench in a garden trying to think this whole lucid stuff through, when a girl I knew walked up to me. She had gotten the plans about which classes we would be in next year, she told me them, then quoted Rena (my awesomely awesome best language arts teacher ever) on something. Then I woke up, at least I thought I did.

The next part of this is kind of fuzzy, so bear with me.
I was driving down a hill or something, and through the trees I saw a space center. I looked at the launch tower, and thought about spaceshuttles, and how they don't launch them anymore. By thinking about it it actually made it happen, so I saw a spaceshuttle. I should have recognized this as a dream, but I didn't OK? Sue me. We drove along and I saw this scene play out from a kid's cartoon I used to watch. There were poles blocking us from entering a cave, but we drove through them anyways, down there there was a polar bear, and we got in a fight with icicles and rocks.
      (memory blindness)
I woke up (for real this time). I then realized what the hell happened, and this is what did happen:

      1. I woke up around 7:00 I think I tried to WILD and succeeded!
      2. All that first dream stuff happens
      3. False awakening into that second dream
      4. All that second dream stuff happens
      5. Woke up for reals, and then got a huge confidence boost.
    7. My 3 second (FIRST!) lucid dream

      by , 06-10-2013 at 01:16 AM
      Length: ~3 seconds
      Type: Lucid

I was playing basketball. I spontaneously did a nose reality check, then I woke up.
