    1. Wooho! Another lucid! [Lucid!]

      by , 08-09-2013 at 04:22 PM
Yerp, believe it or not, this is my third this week.

It started off with me in my driveway with my brother. We were looking through my telescope at stuff, and then I noticed that everything was glow-in-the-dark. Trees, him, lamps, all of it!

It was beautiful. All those colors swirling around.

Then I realized, this isn't normal! I did a quick series of reality checks and confirmed, yes, this was a dream. Luckily, it didn't freak out like the last one, it was pretty stable already.

I figured that these colors was enough for me, and instead of all your normal lucid dreaming shenanigans I just decided to enhance these colors. I imagined the colors being brighter and more swirling and beautiful than ever before, then blinked.

And BAM! My whole vision was covered with swirling red neon yellows greens... They were all dancing around each other in a flurry of light and color.
      It was great.
      But then,

      I woke up.

    2. Ups and downs [Lucid!]

Isn't it funny how after I had a lucid dream I had two nights without anything?

      Welp, now I had another.

      Oh, mind...

It started off with me in Africa with some cousins (We don't have any cousins in Africa, weirdness..). We were walking around a market and bought a watermelon then went on our way. I remember carrying two slices out of five. We came along a mud puddle and we jumped in it. For no reason.

      *Memory blindness*

We then came to an intersection. To the left was a slight hill leading back to the marketplace, the front and back were a dirt road. On the left there was a small forest that ended a couple yards ahead. The sky was mostly cloudy, with some patches gray. It was raining.
We met with some guy who was chubby, short, white, and had glasses. Everyone started talking to him except for me, my brother, and my younger cousin. He looked to be about 6 by the way.

I started thinking about this trip. And how the airline ride went. Then I realized; there was no airline trip. I thought I just might have forgotten it, but then I did thought about doing a RC. Then my aunt said "Oh no, I can breathe, its a dream! We're not real!"
I did and RC for myself, and I could breathe! I started thinking about all this stuff I wanted to do, and the task of the month and all.

My mind, kind of got overwhelmed. I could feel it too, that anxiety of wanting to do things. The sky started flashing different colors. I started to remember the DV podcast, then I remembered the "Making out with the ground" trick.
      Welp.
I layed down and started, uh, making out with the ground. I will admit, it took my mind off dreaming, I guess because you can't see anything, just dirt. Plus your preoccupied with thinking it'll work. The sky stopped flashing, and everyone looked like they didn't know a thing.

I figured I would go to France. No particular reason. I just haven't gone there before. I then tried to teleport but instead my mind brought up a map of the world. I punched France with my fist, and it took me too another map with a map of France. I popped Paris and it made me turn right. It all seemed like a really badly made video game, but it seemed to do the trick. I walked out, and I could see the Eiffel tower! I was a long ways away though, so I tried to teleport again.

But as we all know, for me, teleporting twice is a death sentence.

My eyes in real life quickly opened, then I realised what I'd done and tried to fall asleep again.

      ly it didn't work.
    3. Doing lots of stuff [Lucid!]

      by , 08-05-2013 at 05:05 PM
So the dream starts out with me walking home. Some guy pulls up in a truck. He looked sort of shady and he was carrying a gun. I then started trying to wake myself up.

Then I realized, wait, I'm trying to wake myself up? I tried to imagine the guy turning into some sort of a gummy bear. It worked, but it was more like a pile of green mush.

At this point I'm really exited, I start to remember the task of the month. Which is teach a DC something you don't know how to do. My thoughts were, my mom was a DC, so I would teach her something. I flew over to her work, then realized it was night time. I closed my eyes and tried to imagine the world being light out. It worked! My mom was pulling up in her van.

I stopped her at the door and said "I'm going to get you a better job, you hate your job." This was true, she complains about her job a lot. She smiled and said OK. We both got in the car and she started driving. She passed her grandparents on the street, and said "I'm going to be a flutist ". So then the problem of finding out something for her to do was over. I don't know a clue about the flute.

As we were driving down (it seemed like a short time) she veered off into the woods. I started freaking out but she remained un-phased as we flew through trees.

      Yes. Through them.

I closed my eyes, for no apparent reason, then opened them just as quickly. We were in a new place! I had teleported! I then tried it again, only ending up at the same spot we were at 5 seconds ago. I tried it one more time, this time imagining a music place...

      And then I woke up.

      Damn it.

I guess I learned my lesson about how NOT to teleport.

      But hey! I did:
      Transform someone
      Fly
      Dilate time
      Go through things
      And teleport!

Oh, and fail at a task of the month.

      Seems pretty good to me.

    4. More tidbits 6th lucid!

      by , 07-25-2013 at 04:54 PM
      1. Playing in an arcade. I walked up to some deer hunting game or whatever, and some big bulky guys were around it. I put my quarters in and failed. My brother gave his quarters away.

      2. Was in some sort of a fancy house. Then realized I was dreaming. Now, the thing is, I only realized it because I had had the exact same dream, then woke up, then had it again.

Anyways, I started running around, jumping really high (which is great fun, you should try it in your next lucid dream), and trying to levitate stuff. With no success.
    5. Getting ganged (lucid!)

      by , 07-14-2013 at 06:41 PM
I had a ton of dreams last night, only they were all short.

This one took place after waking up from a short one, so I'd classify it as WBTB.

      Length: ~5 min
      Type: Lucid

Some guys rolled up in a truck, two of them had guns. I realized this was a dream after cowering behind a tree. I was torn, because I wanted to have a lucid dream, but I didn't want to get shot in it, so I did a RC to make sure. Then I jumped out and tried to imagine them catching on fire, it didn't work the way I planned, but at least something scared them off. Most likely me willing them to go away. Then I flew after their truck a little bit. It was amazing, zipping past the trees like that, floating above ground. Pure awesomes. After that I forget what happened. But those were the highlights.

PS: I'd just like to say the nose RC is the best. There's nothing more satisfying than breathing in through your fingers and realizing your in your own dream.

Edit: Oh! I almost forgot, the reason I was inclined to believe I was dreaming was because there was a girl who looked like my dream sign in the shotgun seat. Plus this whole thing of pulling up in a truck and ganging a teenager was sort of... weird.

    6. Alaskan dream numero uno! The only one I might add.

      by , 07-12-2013 at 05:17 PM
      Length: ~5 min
      Type: Lucid

I was in some sort of generic warehouse. With brown boxes stacked high. At the top there was a window. I was walking with some other guy towards them. I didn't get a good view of him, until I stopped to tell him I was dreaming, like I always do. He had brown whiskers all along his face. He had brown-ish black-ish hair too. He reminds me of this guy called Steve, who used to be my language arts teacher in like, 3rd grade. I told him I was dreaming, then decided I would try flying. Either I was nervous about it, and that's what caused me crashing, or its just my first time, either way, I was aiming for the window to do a sort of superman "coming-through-window" sort of thing, but I hit just to the right. I flew halfway through the wall, then woke up.

How I became lucid, was through doing a random reality check. Almost forgot that.
    7. My first quality Lucid dream!

      by , 06-13-2013 at 04:49 PM
      MEMORABLE
      Length: 1 hour (total)
Type: Lucid (half lucid half not lucid)

I was talking to my friend Josh from middle school (in my middle school, even though its summer). He was saying something, but I can't remember what. I then remembered in the dream, that I had just WILD'd (first successful WILDing!). So I told him this
"Bro, this is a dream, I can do whatever I want, because its not real."
He gave me his usual "your crazy" smile. The dream started to go fuzzy, as if I were losing it. The whole halls were bending around like I was spinning, and I tried to stop thinking and look at my hands to stabilize my dream. I couldn't, I had fell asleep ON my hands. I tried to not focus on much without closing my eyes, it worked.

After that, I started walking about and testing some lucid dreaming control, the most memorable was trying to turn a guy into a teddy bear because he was being a bully to me once, but he turned into paper instead. I was sitting on a bench in a garden trying to think this whole lucid stuff through, when a girl I knew walked up to me. She had gotten the plans about which classes we would be in next year, she told me them, then quoted Rena (my awesomely awesome best language arts teacher ever) on something. Then I woke up, at least I thought I did.

The next part of this is kind of fuzzy, so bear with me.
I was driving down a hill or something, and through the trees I saw a space center. I looked at the launch tower, and thought about spaceshuttles, and how they don't launch them anymore. By thinking about it it actually made it happen, so I saw a spaceshuttle. I should have recognized this as a dream, but I didn't OK? Sue me. We drove along and I saw this scene play out from a kid's cartoon I used to watch. There were poles blocking us from entering a cave, but we drove through them anyways, down there there was a polar bear, and we got in a fight with icicles and rocks.
      (memory blindness)
I woke up (for real this time). I then realized what the hell happened, and this is what did happen:

      1. I woke up around 7:00 I think I tried to WILD and succeeded!
      2. All that first dream stuff happens
      3. False awakening into that second dream
      4. All that second dream stuff happens
      5. Woke up for reals, and then got a huge confidence boost.
    8. My 3 second (FIRST!) lucid dream

      by , 06-10-2013 at 01:16 AM
      Length: ~3 seconds
      Type: Lucid

I was playing basketball. I spontaneously did a nose reality check, then I woke up.
