30-Day Challenge: Day 4 what happened to you?

    by , 06-30-2013 at 11:53 AM (644 Views)
Last night I don't remember anything. I got 10 hours of sleep but my memory is nothing. Zero.
It's as if I was in deep sleep for the whole night.

I even meditated before going to bed.

This is weird now but I'm just gonna continue doing ADA until results show.

Memory is a tricky thing. Sometimes the way in which you wake up can make the difference between remembering a dream and having no recall at all.

For example, as a parent I often have to wake up suddenly to my alarm, which is terrible for my recall. I usually have a couple moments after waking to either lie in bed in the dark or visit the bathroom in the dark and quietly close my eyes, regaining that mindset close to the dream state.

When working on dream recall, the last thing you may want to do is force the recall. Emptying your mind and enjoying a sleepy feeling is very passive and is more likely to bring that recall slowly back to you.
