Happy New Year, everyone! I finally got an appreciable amount of sleep, even if I woke up quite a few times.

Here are some dream frags/segments from last night...I can't really recall much more than this, though I know there was a lot more.

I was telling my mom (I’m staying with my rents right now in waking life) that I was going to stay back at my apartment for the night, even though I had work early the next morning. She laughed knowingly when I told her this, but didn’t say anything. She knew I was going to stay with someone, which was, in fact, my plan. I was going to invite my friend, A, to spend the night. Before I fell asleep, I was actually thinking about this.

Woke up, couldn't go back to sleep for about an hour and a half. Finally went back so sleep.

I was in the mall.

Woke up again this morning, rolled over and went back to sleep. I remember this last dream being longer and pretty awesome, but I can only remember the last part.

I was watching a movie, but it wasn't like on a TV screen or at a theater. It overtook my vision, like I was in it, but just passively observing. It was a cross between Wayne’s World and Watchmen (I should add that I've never seen Watchmen in waking life). I had a sense that I had seen the movie before, and I knew what was going to happen. There was the end of a scene. It took place in a restaurant. There was a guy with a big, brown mullet, and it reminded me of Wayne's World. That's the only thing I remember about that scene. The next scene was lit in an ice blue and reminded me of Watchmen. I saw a zoom-in to a sheet of glass with a razor blade and a lot of cocaine on it. I started hearing a hard rock song about cocaine. Then, there was a slow zoom to a big metal door leading to some sort of garage or something. It was very steamy in the room. Then, I saw someone in a pickup truck, with the glass all messed up on the sunroof. I saw a face breathing heavy steam onto the messed up part of the glass. Then the scene zoomed out to the bed of the truck. I saw someone slink out of the back window in a very smooth, fluid motion. It was WakingNomad. He had been doing cocaine. He looked like his profile picture, which reminds me of an elf. He had the head of his profile pic and no shirt. He had leaves covering his crotch and legs like pants, and some going up his torso and onto his head. He had a devious-looking smile on his face, like he was up to something.

And that's all I can recall.

I know I had a lot more going on than what I recall in the dreams, but it's ok. I'm sure my recall will improve more with time, and I'll be able to get it back up to where it was when I originally joined DV 4 years ago.
