In a totally dark room with my eyes shut, I could see red flashes and swirling shapes and colors. I felt a chill radiating from my spine and going up my shoulders and down my arms. My heartbeat increased. I was starting to feel light, when a pain from my leg jolted me and snapped me out of it. I got up, went to the bathroom where I took my pain medication, drank some water, and went back to bed. It took about an hour for me to go back to sleep. I was alert, with my eyes shut. About 8 hours later I started dreaming. I was in a forest with a dirt road.
