    Comp Day 6 - Descent

Me and a friend were taking this elevator down. I’m not sure exactly what was going on—maybe zombies on each floor or something. As we descended, the floor numbers actually went *up*, so we started at Floor 1. Floor 1 was pretty easy. The swords we were using cut through the bodies really well—we were basically one-shotting everything. On **Floor 2**, things got a bit more difficult. At some point, we were told that we could go back into the elevator and ride it back up if we wanted to leave. But if we tried a floor we couldn’t handle, we could die and lose everything. So we were a little cautious.

By the time we got to **Floor 3**, it got rough. Zombies (or whatever they were) weren’t dying in one hit anymore. It took multiple strikes, and we had to use teamwork. Things were getting dicey, so we went back up. I think the floor above was a school or something. Later on, my friend told me that we missed a **secret on Floor 3**—a hidden entrance. I went back down by myself to check it out. Before that, I was just kind of walking around. Apparently, we were part of a secret group killing these things, and no one else knew. So it was me and a few insiders—like a covert squad.

While I was doing recon near the elevator, trying to get a sense of how bad **Floor 4** might be, I overheard some goons talking. They were complaining that their floor wasn’t as nice as “the clean room,” which, apparently, was what Floor 3 was. A clean room? Before I went back down, one of my hacker friends was gathering intel. I don’t remember what came of that. Eventually, I found the secret area. It was a really **liminal space**—like an indoor mall with a ceiling painted blue to mimic the sky. It was clearly abandoned. There was a bike there that somehow still worked, even though its front wheel turned in the opposite direction of the handlebars. There was also a longboard, similar to the one I have in real life but with different wheels.

While exploring, I think I found the **leader**. He had this portal ability and was surprisingly friendly. I started asking him questions—trying to figure out his motivations. I don’t remember exactly what he said, but at some point, I thought, *“You know what? That’s so stupid, it’s kind of admirable.”* We shook hands. He didn’t attack or anything. He actually helped me get back home. Apparently, you can drive back home from there—but I think he just **ported me** using his portal rings. Those rings were really cool—purple smoke, and you couldn’t see through them. Kind of like a certain Pokémon’s ability.

I got the impression this guy would beat me in a fight, but his motivations were more complicated than I thought. I even asked him, “Hey, you don’t need to teach me everything, but in a couple of sentences, how do you do the portal thing?” I *really* wish I could remember what he said.

When I got back, I found out some interesting stuff:

    - He had lied to me.
    - He was actually the father of the girl on my team—the hacker.
    - And apparently, he used some kind of Genjutsu ability, but it didn’t work on me because I wasn’t present when he activated it. I remember thinking at the time, “There’s no way to know if anything he said was true, but then... why be so nice to me?"

Now that I think about it... that guy was Aizen from Bleach. I’m not sure if he created the zombies—or whatever we were fighting. Honestly, I don’t even know if they *were* zombies. Just... things we were slashing. Bad people? Question mark?
