Non-Lucid Dreams
It first started out with me being dropped off by a friend/relative to my grandma's house. However, once I arrived, two people looking like they were part of a 90's action flick began to fight in front of me. One of them was male, and the other female. My grandma's house also became an industrial/futuristic bunker that could seal of every entrance and exit in case of an apocalypse. The man was a thief and the woman was trying to get all her stuff back. Everything gets foggy, but I think the man was finally killed and everything returned to normal. I desperately need to work on recall. xD Other than that, this was in interesting dream nonetheless.
Couldn't remember much of last night. All I know is that it had something to do with camping with friends. Other than that, it has slipped past me. Ehh, better luck next time I hope. :/
Had three weird dreams. Strange thing was, they seemed to restart at the same point, but each had their own different outcome. The first dream started out in a main hub that was a part of some space station in the future. It was spacious, but lacked any real architectural design. I was at some market strip talking with these two people from my bus, but then the dream ended. The second dream started back at the hub, except this time, I was in control of a space ship that was investigating something. We left the station and activated some hyperspace drive and warped to a nearby ship that was in ruins. This part was weird because part of the ship had some growth on it like in one of my previous dream. It was red and looked like it had killed all the crew inside of the ship. That picture seems to accurately depict what I saw. Reinforcement carriers had then warped in and sent a couple of their ships to investigate, but they flew too close and contracted the growth. It ended with my ship warping out while all the surrounding ones succumbed to the growth. The third and last dream had me once again start at that main hub area, only this time I was a crew member on the one carriers that had flown out. I was part of some reconnaissance crew that was sent to investigate what exactly happened. I remember getting into a ship and then docking inside the derelict ship only to find parts of the crew "grown" to the wall. It was really disturbing, but I soldiered on. We managed to make it to the bridge where there was only more dead people, when all of the sudden they started detaching themselves and shambling towards us like zombies. We activated the self-destruct button, but I woke up as soon as I made it back to the ship we landed in. Man, those were some strange dreams. I think that if I have more dreams that recur, I could realize that it's a dream and become lucid. I have to say though, this wasn't the best in terms of clarity and vividness, but still interesting. I still find it strange that it was so much like a dream I've had before. P:
The first dream starts off where I and some random people are picked out to test the portal gun. We go through all the tests normally. I have to say though, it was pretty fun and make sense when I think back. The last test I can remember had me jump really high up to get to the final location. What's odd is that when I jumped up and down, the feeling would normally wake me up, but this time it hadn't. I was just jumping up and down before finally landing on the platform and going through a door. That's when I woke up. After falling back asleep, the next dream had I remembered was leaving my house to go to some other place. I had taken the local highway out of Tucson and began on my way. Except there was something strange, I wasn't in a car at all. I was flying. But what was weird was that I didn't actually have a body, it was kind of like typing 'noclip' into a game and flying around like that. I had gone up a couple of hills before coming to a billboard where I rested. I then looked at the time and noticed my watch wasn't working, and being in what was pretty much the middle of the desert, I decided to fly off the road in hopes of trying to find a watch repairman. One thing that I remember about the setting of where I was at, was that it was at dusk. The dust in the air had this golden glow that shined on all of plants. As I continued, I had come across this house that had a few people living in it. It looked like any normal house with a nice front yard. I remember talking to the owners where they handed me a pamphlet of some guy you traveled around the desert repairing watches. I went outside thinking to myself, "How in the world was I supposed to find this traveling watch repairman in the desert?" As I continued to travel in the direction that I was traveling in before, I came across this wooden house. Inside it lived an old lady who gave off this creepy vibe. Things get stranger when I hear a loud crash and a giant mech sort of thing starts fighting with the old lady and the owners I had just recently talked with. The old lady puts a curse on the mech before being crushed and one of the owners is knocked unconscious. After which the mech explodes leaving behind it's weapon which I run up and grab. But because this weapon has some sort of tracking device on it, a person up in an alien space station disables it rendering it useless. So, I wait a while before heading back feeling guilty about the whole situation. I get back to the house to find that the resulting explosion had destroy both the old lady's house and the original one. It was sad to watch as I saw one of the owners hug the other one who had been missing her legs and the rest of their family and roommates comfort her. After that, I decided that I should be on my way. I flew back to the billboard before continuing on the road. I recall that this experience was a lot more appealing considering that the old dry desert gave way to a lush, forest type area. There was a river at the bottom and a couple of waterfalls on the side of cliffs. It wasn't flat, it was more mountainous. It was a nice little town that had adapted to the cliffs, although there were some roads that did lead to the top of the mountains where there were either more buildings, or parks. I remember being in a car at this point driving over dams that served as the towns electric provider that had water going over the top rather than the bottom. I also remember the radio being on some 80's station as David Bowie's "Let's Dance" came on along with "Sweet Dreams" and "Girls Just Want to Have Fun". Which surprisingly, now that I think about it, it sounded pretty clear and accurate in the dream. The dream concludes as I drive up to a park that has a sign that says "Assembly Park". Well, this certainly concludes the long dry-spell that I've been having. Although I can't believe I missed the chances to become lucid. Although overall I feel pretty happy about this despite the fact that I've been sick this past weekend. xD
This dream that I faintly remember took place in a third-person view. It was a bunch of people inside a tomb that had no entrance or exit except through a portal in a pit. The room itself was a basic square with a pit in the center that had sand in it. The pit had a floor of sand and apparently housed some coffins of famous heroes. Surrounding the pit perimeter on the second level, there were four statues placed at each corner that resembled the grim reaper and a small rail to prevent people from falling in. On the second floor, the walls each had iron doors leading to rooms that resembled some sort of prison cell. If you opened one, a bunch of demons would come out and try to kill you. So as these people opened each door to find the key to open the portal, demons poured out each and every one. A few got injured, but not severely. It wasn't until they finally opened the last door and found the key that some demons materialized at the four statues and looked exactly like the grim reaper. The portal instantly opened and the people rushed towards the portal, all while the reapers started swinging their scythes and flying at them. They all escaped, but the room almost stayed exactly the same. The bright orange lights that once lit the room now changed into a bluish color and the tombs developed vines all over the place. The sand had also turned to grass and a large natural door appeared at one of the walls in the pit. I say "natural" because it looked like a cavern entrance made from the erosion from water. I suppose attempting to "de-stress" myself has worked a little. xD I know for certain though I had another dream after this, it's just that I can't seem to remember. :/ Well! I gotta say, I'm looking forward to the weekend!
All I can remember is that it took place on some lush paradise, and the rest at school. I can't quite remember what I was doing in the paradise place, all I remember is that once again, I was looking for someone. It abruptly cut to my next dream where I was at school. Everything had a sort of depressing bluish tint to it and there was an overcast of clouds. I remember going class to class working on every assignment handed to me before getting to my orchestra class. Once that class was done, I was walking with a friend of mine talking about some issue. He told me that if he was in my shoes, he'd want to move immediately since that was my only option. I nodded and kept on my way to my last class before the dream ended. Hmm, the more I recall, the stranger impression it leaves with me. I remember other bits and pieces, but I don't know it they were from other past dreams or just me making them up unintentionally. Nevertheless, I need to start working on recall again considering that went down the dream. But things are only looking up from here!
Five nights without a dream, but finally a dream I can remember! I was in a green field running around trying to find something when all of the sudden, I found small cliff with a small waterfall coming down. Almost like that except there was a pathway where the waterfall was coming out at leading up and curving around. At the base of the waterfall was a large pond and a few strange fishes. As I looked around, a person came down from the sky giving the impression they were an angel of some sort. The person/angel smoothly waved their hand and the rock supports had begun crumbling becoming some sort of column-like statue of a figure. The walls had also begun to form paintings and the floors became smoothed and paved. Even though it wasn't the largest area, it was still interesting to watch. It gets a little hard to recall, but I remember standing back on the green field, but it had a couple of people on it. Also, there was a dense fog on it and some parts strangely turned into supermarket aisles. I was also looking for someone, but I can't quite remember who. Interesting dream, even if I couldn't remember all of it. I've been noticing that most of my dreams are taking place in free-range areas. They usually have fields and lakes, but never really inside buildings, because if it does take place in a city, I am usually out and about roaming the streets. I guess another way of putting it is that I rarely remember seeing ceilings. xD
I think I'm stressing over school too much, I haven't recalled a single dream from last night, but hopefully I'll remember tonight. First week back from spring break and I have to say, I'm looking forward to summer vacation already. Sweet dreams everyone, hopefully you'll have better luck than me! xD
Last night I had the strangest dreams. It first started out when a friend of mine threw a party at his house. We all arrived, but everything gets foggy after that. I do faintly remember working on my friends computer because of something, but I don't remember what. The next dream was really choppy in terms of how things progressed. Sometimes it would continue forward only to spontaneously move back giving me deja vu. I can't quite recall specifics, but I do remember being at my aunts house converted into a now zombie proof bunker. The first day was when a warning was given out telling people to look for symptoms in your neighbors. However, I went out investigating how everyone else was doing. Most of the neighbors were doing fine from what I remember, but most of us were stranded in our homes because our cars didn't work. I soon returned to my aunts house after finishing up a conversation with everyone. When it became nighttime, I went back outside to the car to try and turn it on. The strange thing was, is that there was a breathalyzer machine on the car that was both "there" and not. Almost as if it was popping in and out of existence. I put the key into the ignition and attempted to start the car, but it was just making those clicking sounds. My aunt then came out to see what I was doing. I told her to go back inside so that she doesn't get attacked by zombies. Then things went back to when I was asking around in the neighborhood about the how they were doing. This time, it was different because everyone was working on their cars rather than just standing around. Somehow I got back into the bunker area of my aunts house when we both heard a knocking from the backyard door. We stepped outside and saw a reporter holding a high definition camera with a female assistant by him. He said that he needed to take our pictures to record history, but I looked up to find a half decaying man missing both his arms and one leg, just standing there, ominously. It scared the living daylights out of me. The reporter and assistant just stood their with a dumbfounded look on their face. I snapped at my aunt and motion for her to get back into the house when I was saved by the alarm going off on my phone thus waking me up. xD At least I remembered more detail this time rather than length or plot. Still, I can't help but feel a little closer to achieving a lucid dream considering I noticed that breathalyzer phasing in and out. P:
Was incredibly stressed last night and couldn't get to sleep. If I did have a dream, I don't remember it. Oh well, better luck next time I suppose! :/
Last night was terrible, couldn't sleep at all. All I remember was being at my World History class, talking with my teacher, and popping up in some capture the flag game. I was on a team with some of my friends and we had to capture the enemy flag 3 times, or take control of 4 zones to win the game. I think we won because we moved onto a different level. In this level, there was a huge tower in the center of the map with a deep chasm surrounding it with a few "islands" in the chasm. There was huge mountains off in the distance and a cesspool with dinosaurs in it. Oh, and the mountains had some sort of sculpture carved into it. The rocks were a very light tan color and it was bright and sunny, but with a hint of fog. The tower itself was very boxish in it's design and angled upward almost like a pyramid. It had a portal at the very top and other smaller portals that teleported inside the tower scattered all over the playing field. The last thing I can remember is that I was searching for my team on the outskirts of the level before waking up. It was enjoyable dream, better than the last one at least in terms of creepiness. Still though, I look forward to having lucid dreams!
Last night I had the strangest dreams. The first dream started out where I was at the base of this mountain. It was green with grass and had a mist that hung in certain parts. As I made my way I up noticed a wall at the side of the mountain path as if to stop people from falling. It was black and had spirals with flowers at the end carved into it. When I reached the mountain peak I looked over and saw a whole community. Then I looked around and noticed that I was on a space colony due to the curvature of the land. It reminded me of the old colony concept art I saw when I was really young. Something was off though, there weren't any people. I found an alternative pathway that lead downward, when out of nowhere a person appeared. I can't quite recall if it was a man or women, but I do remember it telling me that the colony was under some sort of marshal law that restricted when you can and cannot go outside. Just then, people started pouring out of their houses and the community bustled with people. I went down there, but I can't recall much after that. All I know is that there was a mother with a child seeking to escape the community which eventually lead the security forces getting involved. The last dream was a little disturbing. It started out in my World History class where a group was presenting on some world event. They passed out this fill in the blanks paper that was from a song they were about to sing. They started singing it and some of the blanks were quite strange. One was "aliens" another was "senorita" and "industry". The class felt the song was so tear-jerking that they began to cry. I just sat there chuckling away. Everything around me changed though I soon found myself watching a man aboard a train trying to derail to win some competition with an enemy that just so happened to be on the train with him. The competition itself took place in another city though and I don't quite recall what exactly it was all about. The train itself looked like an old 1920's locomotive. The man had messed with the train while it was stationed at a platform not to far from the city itself. As the train pulled out of the station, he jumped out and watched from a distance. It was miles away when it exploded and the smoke cloud looked more like a small little puff of air. With his opponent now gone, the man made his way to the city where he meet a women with a single child which seemed similar to the one in my previous dream. Apparently, the child was going to fill his fathers footsteps and participate in the competition that his father was going to. Both the child and that mother had bitter feelings towards this man suspecting something was up with him. The drama ensues as the man fell in love with the mother and tried wining over her heart, but failed miserably. As the dream neared the end, the mother told the man to follow her into some park in the day. It cycled back to an area I remembered in the first dream in the space colony. When they arrived she told him that he was someone important, but the dream abruptly ended after that due to me getting a call at 8:00 in the morning. After I fell back asleep, I was at a pool surrounded by stadium seats that were filled with people. This dream was more surreal than anything else because there were ducks engaging in synchronized swimming to classical music. When they were finished, there were very few claps from the crowds because they sucked. I have to say, my recall certainly is getting better. Although to be honest, these dreams were borderline nightmare because of their creepiness. But nevertheless, I still enjoy the recall!
Couldn't sleep well last night and I only remembered dream fragments. I remember watching a group of people run to some spaceship that was leaving the planet, but they were being attacked by other people. Then I remember them finding some futuristic hovercrafts and desperately trying to escape. Then the dream scene changed and I found myself walking to the gates to a city. I remember seeing a giant red vortex at the city center and a hologram of some random women. Everything gets real iffy after that. Something about getting enough troops to hold their position... The last dream took place in a school of some sort. The buildings looked very like giant stone slabs that were carved from the inside out. There was a flood I think in one of the basements and we all had to leave. Hopefully I'll sleep good tonight. Being sick probably didn't help either, but at least I'm better now!
I can't quite recall the first dream, all I know is that it had something to do with water, boats and an island right next to a wooden wall. I can faintly remember moving around in the water and eventually arriving at the gates of the wooden wall. In the next dream, I had a concert for my orchestra class to perform at. When I arrived, I had just remembered that I needed to play a violin part even though I was a bass player. This threw me into a panic as I tried to remember the fingering positions in order to properly play the song. Eventually I gave up and said I would only do the bass part considering that it was the only thing I could remember. That's when the dream just kinda faded. I remember that in the third dream I was at home on my computer writing the first and second dream down. However, I did not finish writing all of it and accidentally posted. I didn't realize until someone had posted a comment about it and tried to fix it. After that, I found myself at an old medieval town perched on the side of a hill. It had a fascinating clock tower with gears coming out of it rotating rhythmically. The town crier had said there was a meeting at the town hall and that everyone was welcome to attend. There were two people either debating or talking about an issue. One of them was a man, and the other was a women. When they concluded their speeches, the man pulled out a small vile and popped the cork releasing some vapor that surrounded him. When it cleared, he had disappeared leaving everyone baffled. People started forming search parties to find him. It got to the point where a person got onto a ship and sailed to different islands to find him. They found him on an island that was turned into a potato farm which struck me as odd. The ship they sailed on was wreaked so they had to use nearby wood from trees to make it. However it couldn't hold all of us on it so three people had to hold a rope that was tied to one of the logs that would drag them along with us. The last dream was probably the most action packed. I remember being at the entrance to a cathedral. It was me and three other people. From what I recall, it was one guy and two girls. It turned into a RPG/Left4Dead kind of game when a bunch of demons and people on elephants attacked us. We then had to fight our way out of the cathedral yet all stay alive using special powers. I used magic, another person used strength, someone was an archer, and I forgot what the last person was. We eventually got to these doors that required a certain pairing of people to open. I remember each door was huge and slowly opened as demons came from behind us. We eventually got all the doors open leading to the outside. Strangely, it showed area where my first dream was at with the wooden wall and water everywhere. Wow, my recall is certainly getting better! Still no lucid dreams yet, but at least I am making progress!
It all started out in a desert at dusk. The sky was an dark orange color from all the dust that was lingering in the air. I was talking with my dad when an old friend of mine walked across and asked me what rubber-bands I wore for my braces. I responded telling her that I used to wear rubber-bands from a green package, but moved onto wearing them from a blue package. She then proceeded on her way and I resumed talking with my dad. The dream plot changed when a guy from a balcony not too far from me said that a gang had come into town and kidnapped children. My dad had disappeared on me so I followed some soldiers with weird, futuristic armor that were going to fight the gang. We all got into a car and drove on a curving road perched on a cliff when we saw the gang was putting kids into a van. I remember them wearing a brightly colored jackets and holding guns and a weird machine at the apex of the curve. The soldiers got out of the car and started firing at the gangs while simultaneously rescuing the children. Not only did the soldiers shoot at the gang, but they manipulated the environment around them to give them the advantage. They eventually pushed the gang back to some tree before the gang got the upper hand and made their escape. The soldiers then returned to their car and drive off. I don't know what exactly happened, but I kinda faded out of existence and the dream continued more like a movie. Time passed and it was now nighttime. The soldiers drove back to where to they fought the gang and found them once again. In the fight, I remember them turning the ground into lava trapping some gang members in their tracks and shooting them. This time, the soldiers had won, but on of the main soldiers was shot and injured and the commander carried him to that weird machine at the apex of the curve. A blue sack enveloped the wounded soldier and the commander spotted someone at the end of the road. The person waved and walked towards him. This part was strange too because it was like a cinematic scene in a movie. The "camera" zoomed out showing them both from a 3rd person view and the commander talked about how manipulating nature would ruin it's behavior. The view then changed to a scene of a tree's that leaves were falling and a pond with ripples. He then elaborated more on his idea and the tree's leaves stopped falling and the pond became still and the camera then fell back onto him. The person nodded and left. Everything kinda gets foggy after that, but I do remember seeing a girl floating with her arms thrust downward inside a circular object that emitted a soft blue light on her. I said to myself that I should remember drawing the knees to better my drawing skills or something like that. Well, overall I am glad that i am remembering more and more of my dreams, so it does show that I am progressing in both length and detail!
