Just a quick entry bc I've not taken my vitamins while on vacation so my recall sucks! I had a dream last night that I remembered, so I'm posting it from my cell phone

I was in a wooden building that reminds me of an old medieval dinning hall. I'm on a balcony with an older bearded man. In the dream I think he's my dad but he doesn't look like my real dad. He's. Controlling me, telling me what I can and can't do. Then he starts pouring boiling hot water on the people below. I don't want him to hurt them, so in an act of defience I jump down to put myself between everyone else and him. He doesn't care and starts to throw the hot water on me. A guy swoops in behind me and pushes/pulls me into a little room nearby. The hot water has splashed us, but it didn't soak us because he moved me so quickly. Burns are forming, and the room is actually a shower, so it starts pouring down cold water to ease the burns. Its cold though and I shiver so the guy pulls me close to him exposing the burns to the water and warming the side of me that aren't. The shower isn't draining though, and I'm scared we'll drown! But the shhhhs me and tells me itss be ok. Just before the water fills the shower completely, the door flies open and we roll out. He's got friends in the hall and they've killed the king who I thought was my father and saved me. Then I wake up.

The guy was someone I saw a few times at the con, and this is our vacation and time away from everyday life. I'm guessing the dream is telling me I want to escape from the crap in my everyday. Like how in an earlier dream sinoblak thought it showed I was sacrificing myself for others. This dream follows that and goes to show that this is my escape at the con, lol.
