redisreddish's mess of dreams is still messy

~Hehehe, I like that title. I think I might have been lucid at the very beginning of this one. There was a big lake in the distance, and a slimy kraken-like thingy kept rising up out of it and screeching. I ran into one of several tall, empty orange buildings scatterd around me and found a window that looked out at the lake, then gave myself feathery white wings. I moved them up and down a few times to make sure they actually worked. Satisfied, I took a running start and jumped through the window. I could fly perfectly. The kraken tried to catch me when I went over it. It grabbed one of my wings, which disappeared in a flash of gold light. Then it reappeared a few seconds later the same way.

(Wonderful picture, isn't it?) Things got odd after that; the location kept changing and people came and I was trying to run away from something. One of the kraken's tentacles grabbed my arm at one point and I had to bite it to make it let go.

~Going to a Pokemon arcade with my friend Justin; someone tried to sell us a bunch of tokens.

~Walking around a mall with a group of friends, but we're really our characters from a book. As we go past a shoe store, a girl runs out at us with a gun. Casket (strongest character) pushes her down and the gun flies out of her hand, skids across the floor, and is picked up by a shady looking fellow. He aims it at my head, but Jin (most evil out of the group) takes out his own gun and blasts the guy's hand. He runs away. The girl is screaming and flailing around on the floor. She pulls a big knife out of nowhere and tells us she stabbed her boss (who was apparently controlling her) with it. It's covered in blood. I take it and she dies.
"What's up with her boss, Rayne?" Jin asks me. (My character is a vampire.) I lick some of the blood off the knife and conclude that her boss is definitely not human. We go back to the shoe store to investigate. There's a back room, seemingly empty except for a bed, closed closet door, and vent near the ceiling. I'm standing in front of the closet door when someone starts trying to open it from the inside.
"Guys, he's in here! Get your guns ready!" I yell. Everyone draws their weapons and I let the boss out. He gets shot numerous times but it doesn't seem to phase him. Casket shoves him onto the bed and shoots him point-blank in the head. Nothing. I notice that the boss is reaching for something hidden under the mattress and stab his arm with the knife in an attempt to stop him. He pulls out a gun and aims it at my face. I wake up.

~Something about carrying a little white fox around in my pocket.
