    3. Combative dreams

      Listened to a new sleep-meditation last night. 7hz-2.5hz BW entrainment combined with an audible track and subliminal messages to be aware of dreaming. Early in the night I became partially lucid, but the dream is vague now. Later in the night I had two very confrontive, very combative dreams, where I may have been partially lucid.

      I have some memories of a large, glowing white figure, possibly female.

      Supplements were Melatonin and 100mg 5 HTP.

      Felt very good this morning.

    4. Incredible LD!

      Last night I had what I would call one of the top ten LDs of my life, in terms of solidity. In the dream I was sitting on a raised platform of some type, along with some other people. I became lucid and marveled at how solid and real everything was. We were watching some type of activity below. The dream lasted for, subjectively, several minutes. I could not believe the realism. I thought about interacting with a dream character to see how that would affect things. The woman to my right was smiling and I again marveled at how real she was. At the end of the dream, I was manipulating a staff in some martial art moves.

      This was achieved with a scripted meditation I made and listened to for about half the night. The meditation was aimed at increasing my freedom of movement and awareness in dreams. There is brainwave entrainment embedded in the track that slowly goes from 7hz down to 2.5hz. I listened to this on a Bluetooth sleep mask headphone.

      My only supplements were a Benadryl I took at bedtime for my sinuses, Melatonin and a multi-B vitamin.

    5. Dream slump

      Past two nights had no clear dreams. I've noticed this cycle over the years. One or two tremendous, lucid and near-lucid, dreams then a few days of nothing, like charging a battery, I guess.

    6. Lucid flying dreams

      Last night I had a series of lucid awareness in my dreaming. The dreams involved, mainly, flying in the outdoors, a sunset/sunrise, and tall buildings. These occurred during the first part of the night. Also, a quasi-lucid dream of a giant snake in a prehistoric setting and fighting an attacker.

      I attribute these lucid events to a subliminal meditation track that I created, focusing on deep relaxation and awareness of dreaming. I listened to one hour of this then took off the headphones and went to sleep.

      Supplements I used were Melatonin and 100 mg of 5HTP. Also, a multi-B liquid vitamin.

    7. Animal Power encounter

      A lot of disjointed scenes and images. Then I am on a mountain slope, watching animals fight. One appears to be a tiger. I am armed with a sword, and I wonder if it is sufficient to protect me against a tiger. Then the tiger walks past me. It is not threatening, but I can feel the power it has.

    8. Lots of dreams, some meaningful.....

      My usual stack of supplements...Valerian, Melatonin and 100 Mg of 5HTP. Lots of dreams, some quasi-lucid, but not quite. Archetypal images of alligators and figures trying to intimidate me. I reached a state of near-lucidity as I confronted one threat. I may kick up the 5HTP tonight. 100 mg seems to be a threshold dose.

    9. Quasi-lucidity

      Intense scene of walking down an alley, very dark. I am being attacked by a succession of, what I seem to know, zombie creatures. I am moving my sword perfectly and I marvel at how powerful my cuts are. Around this point I become aware it's a dream. I am still fighting two creatures and after I cut them down they embrace each other as they reanimate. They congratulate each other on the lessons they have taught me.

      Sorry, if this dream seems violent or disturbing. There was no fear or any other negative feeling. I'm interpreting it as my Deep Self telling me I am on the right path.

      Still, frustratingly close to lucidity. Lots of dream and contacts with animal spirits over a three-night period.

    11. Snake dream

      Last night.....I am in some type of country/barn/farm setting. I find a huge snake. It has spiny frills along it's back, like a dinosaur. It crawls around and the frills become larger. I know it is a very special animal. There is no threat or fear. just wonderment.

      Quasi-lucid dream of wielding a Japanese Katana. Lately, I have been working on Japanese martial art and have trained with a Katana almost daily. This showed up in my dream.

      I am standing in front of a mirror, holding a sword. As I visualize the cuts, my sword moves, smoothly and very fast. I can actually see the cuts in the air. I look at myself in the mirror and see a Samurai woman moving the sword. She smiles at me. The dream lasted, subjectively, for 1-2 minutes.

    14. Attempting to sleep better and deeper

      I've been waking up in the early AM, unable to shut down my thinking. Tonight. I will try Magnesium, 5-HTP and Melatonin in a stack to induce better sleep. Also, using my self-made Sleep/Dream Cycle session, listening to it all night.

    15. Method

      I make immersive meditation sessions and record them. Each session is 90-minutes and contains brainwave entrainment ramping from Theta (7 hz) down to Delta (2 hz) then rising back to Theta. I place different lucidity cues during the last Theta part of the session. I listen to this during the night on a Bluetooth sleep mask. The session loops and replays.
