    1. 22nd Lucid Dream! But First, Scary Things

      by , 10-10-2013 at 05:48 AM
#1. I was in math class, waiting to get my test back. When I did however... WOW what a horrible grade! I had gotten like, 10%. Needless to say, this was pretty much a nightmare, since I want to be a computer scientist and math is kinda important in that field

#2. It seemed like I was back in third grade or something. I was on a class field trip, and we had gone to the city park. I was happily sitting there on a log when another kid came running at me, and he was holding a scorpion! No matter what I did, this kid just wanted this scorpion to sting me soooo bad. I kept running away until the dream ended

Lucid: I was at home standing in the kitchen. For some reason I was holding a dirty dish, so then I went to put it in the dishwasher. When I opened it though, there was a mix of clean and dirty dishes. I thought this was rather peculiar, and went about questioning my family who had done it. When I went to talk to them though, it was like none of them could hear me at all. Finally when they did reply, I asked them what was going on and they seemed very clueless and lost. At this point I concluded that I must be dreaming!

Once I realized this, I immediately ignored everything else and focused on my dream goal, not to be outdone by the dream as I was the night before. I proceeded upstairs to my room. Once I got there I focused on summoning who I wanted to meet, but when I tried the dream started to fade! I then woke up

Nevertheless, it was another lucid dream!

    2. Make my Day... 21st Lucid Dream!

      by , 10-09-2013 at 05:35 AM
Before I get to the lucid dream, here are some others I had from last night as well...

#1. I was dreaming I was playing for a professional basketball team. We then did this weird coin toss to determine which basket each team was to shoot in. I can remember the other team forgetting we were supposed to use the side baskets, leading to me being able to surprise them and drive down for a full court layup!

#2. mumble grumble... something about a sports stadium I can't understand over my voice recording from 4AM this morning

#3. I had a false awakening that I had woken up and turned off my .mp3 player. Then I actually woke up, recorded my dreams, and shut it off

Lucid: There was a bad dude in the gym where I was working out. I overheard that he had plans to murder someone! hnoez: I then returned home with the uneasy feeling he wouldn't be far behind. I decided the best course of action would be to grab my Benelli Super Black Eagle II (that is a hunting shotgun for those of you out there wondering) However, before I could get to the basement to grab it, the guy showed up! Yikes! However, I guess my fear caused me to become lucid, as at this moment I realized I was in the dream. My fear also had the nasty effect however of making me focus soley on the present situation... totally forgetting I could just change the scene if I wish... -_-

Anyways... I then just wished myself that my shotgun was there and lo and behold, it appeared right in front of me, all zipped nicely in its case. I removed the gun, then wished that I had some shells and poof! A couple rounds of ammo appeared in my hand. I then loaded my gun and moved in on the bad guy. I got the drop on him and told him to stay right there till the cops arrived. They then showed up and I can remember them handcuffing the bad guy and hauling him off to jail. However, by this point I had lost my lucidity and I can't remember really doing anything cool. :/

    3. Twentieth Lucid Dream - My Brain was... Helpful???

      by , 09-14-2013 at 08:37 PM
So I was pretty inactive most of the summer. I don't know, it just seemed so busy. However, last night I had another lucid dream and it got me wanting to get back into it.

I was at school with a friend of mine (who doesn't go to the same school as me). Since we had just gone dove hunting the weekend before, I was dreaming about... dove hunting. The weird thing is that we were hunting at school! My friend was the only one shooting however, and I kept telling him we shouldn't be hunting in the middle of town, but he ignored me. Anyways, eventually we decided to leave. However, I remember saying this exact thing... "Good thing I'm dreaming or we'd be in prison for shooting on school property."

*KABOOM* If that isn't an obvious sign that you are dreaming then I don't know what is. Immediately after I said this, I became lucid and decided I was getting the heck out of Dodge. Apparently my brain has subconsciously been getting better at spawning things when I NEED THEM NOW, because my friend was being a jerk and didn't believe I was dreaming. I put my hand to my side and a .45 magically appeared. (wow, I would never do that in real life, but hey, there are dream goals that must be accomplished here!). I told my friend to back off, and I got in the truck and took off.

My first thought was that I wanted to get away from everybody, out in the country where I would not be disturbed. It was very cool, because all the roads in my dream were laid out just like in real life. I got on the highway and was cruisin' as fast as the truck would go. I knew nobody could stop me. I went over some train tracks, got some air, it was awesome. Then this random firetruck came out of no where and I had to swerve around it. Anyways, I was almost to where I wanted to go.... but all of a sudden I woke up. >:-/

    4. Back from Reunion and Lucid Dream

      by , 06-14-2013 at 05:59 AM
Well, I am finally back from the big ol' family reunion, which took a few more days than I thought it would. Honestly I am quite glad to be back to normal so I can focus on dreaming. However, I did end up having a lucid dream last night.

This dream started out as a false awakening. I actually had a couple of my friends spending the night so I had crashed backwards on my bed after a long day of boating. I think this unfamiliar position is what caused my false awakening. Anyways, when it first began I remember that I dreamt of waking up at 3:30... PM! I was appalled, and immediately got my friends up. I remember then sitting on the floor looking at my watch (which I don't normally wear), and seeing the numbers growing harder and harder to read. At this point I was pretty certain I was dreaming, and did a quick breathing test by pinching my nose and inhaling. I was pleased to see this return a positive result for being in dream land. However, during this entire I dream I was very tired, and really was just focusing on staying in the dream. Pretty much all I did was go sit in my chair with my nose plugged to keep myself re-assured I was in a dream. This seemed to go on for quite some time actually, and I was hoping I would wake up more, but I never really did. I then felt my actual body waking up from some noise coming from downstairs (breakfast I believe) and then I let myself wake up, cause I personally don't enjoy SP.

This dream while nothing special was still exciting because it was lucid, and I found a way to keep myself quite aware really, despite being tired in the dream. I guess now when I have my next lucid I will be able to just plug my nose for a minute to stay in the dream, and hopefully I won't be as tired since I won't have been wakeboarding for 3 hours the previous day

    5. Dreams from New Technique and June 5 Recap

      by , 06-05-2013 at 05:40 PM
Well I think I found out the hard way that when you work out every day and don't eat enough... your body has a nasty way of telling you. I planned on using the new technique again last night, however instead of having vivid dreams that I became lucid in, I just had tons of scattered fragments that I didn't even bother recording. After that I even slept through my wake up alarm at 8:00 and slept until 9:30! Either way, I gotta eat a little more in the evenings I guess, cause just an apple for dinner isn't cutting it.

Anyways, here are the dreams from when I first tried the new technique...

#1 - I was in history class, and the teacher got up and reminded us all of the assignment that was due that day that we were supposed to do o ver the weekend. I had forgotten to do it obviously (since it's summer!) and I started reasoning with myself why was I even in school during summer vacation? I then rememebered the exact date and was like "I'm DREAMING"! Soon after that I got up and started walking around the classroom. I was focusing on just staying in the dream and not letting the rest of the class distract me and lose lucidity (like my DC's usually do). I then gave them all A's on thier papers cause I was in charge now that it was MY dream, and let them all go outside, away from me. Then after my victory I got woken up anyways by my mom cooking breakfast. -_-

#2 - As soon as I woke up though, I just went right back to sleep and re-entered the same dream. The room was a little different, but now there was a clock in there. I looked at this clock, and it was 8:00. I then looked away, and looked back for a reality check, and boom! 8:15 I then knew I was dreaming. Soon after another teacher entered and left a cell phone on a desk. I grabbed it and gave it back to her, saying she forgot it, but she just said it was her husband's and he wanted it left ther for some reason. Soon after though, I got woken up again by some sound from the kitchen.

#3 - I re-entered the dream and then looked at this same clock again. It worked like a charm, and I became lucid again. At this point I decided ti was tome to work on dream goals. I went and sat in the corner and focused. However, I got woken up again. Grr...

#4 - I was then in my room. I remember walking out the door and seeing the box for my Genesis. The box art kept changing and I knew I was dreaming. After this I went to the back porch to get outside and work on my dream goals. Woke up again though from breakfast being made.

#5 - Finally though, I re-entered this dream and was now standing on the back porch at my house. I remember watching all these cars going by, just like normal life. It was so life-like I wasn't sure if I was actually dreaming, but it was re-affirmed when some random person on a bicycle came by, tipped over, then just randomly kinda floated back upright and continued on. This strange occurrence assured me I was dreaming, and I wouldn't look like a fool trying to spin in circles and change the dream scene. However, I apparently don't have much experience changing the dream scene, as it didn't work and I just fell on my butt I then just sat for a minute and stabalized the dream. I then tried commanding the dream to change scenes, but right as I was doing this I got woken up again!

Well, I guess I only had 5 dreams But still, it was pretty awesome! I'm gonna eat more for dinner tonight so I have energy in the morning adn try this technique again! Can't wait!!!

    6. New Technique - 6 Lucid Dreams

      by , 06-05-2013 at 06:24 AM
Yep, you heard that right, I had 6 lucid dreams last night! They all seemed sorta chained together but eh, I was awake between each one so I call it 6!

Since it's getting late and I haven't had much time to record these on DV yet, I will do that tomorrow. But here is the technique I used to achieve this..

So last night I was reading about lucid dreaming and I came across this thing called the napping technique. It is really similar to a WILD except you stay up for a long time in between waking up
and going back to sleep. What I did was go to bed around 11:30. Then I set my alarm clock to get me up at 5:30. From this point I made myself stay awake for the next hour. I read out of my lucid dreaming book during this time to keep myself focused on dreams. When I first went back to bed, I remember having a non lucid for a second, then waking back up and realizing it. (or maybe I didn't wake up? I can't remember) Anyways, after this dream, my thinking during my dreams was VERY logical. Without giving away the first dream that started it, basically I was questioning why I was back in school, when it was June 3? (yes I remembered the exact date) Anyways, from there I became lucid. I kept waking up for some reason though during these dreams, but I was easily able to chain them together using a clock that was located in the room in the dream world. By then end I had had 6 dreams, and was VERY, VERY close to FINALLY meeting that individual I have been trying to for soooooo loooooong now.

Anyways, I found this technique to be the best thing since sliced bread, since it produced 6 lucids the first try. I'll log the dreams tomorrow, and hopefully alongside even more from tonight!

    7. Thirteenth Lucid Dream!

      by , 11-13-2012 at 06:26 AM
The first thing I remember is that I got out of bed and started on my way down the hall to the bathroom. I remember it was still pitch black outside. This was probably caused from waking from a previous REM cycle and noticing hwo dark it was. Anyways, I made my way to the bathroom and as I got there this feeling that I was dreaming grew and grew.

I then looked into the mirror and although I already knew I was dreaming somehow, told my reflection that I was definitely dreaming, just for reassurance I suppose. I then remember immediately deciding to work on my major dream goal. I started downstairs and decided to search outside. I knew it would be cold outside (I was still in my pajamas), but when I went outside, it was slightly chilly, but not really that bad. I figured my dream powers were finally working for me, not against me, and then I felt nice and toasty. I proceeded barefoot down our driveway through the snow, on a search for them.

I can't recall at this point if there were any DC's, but I believe I may have come across some, however, learning from my previous experience, I simply ignored them and they went away. Finally, I came across a ton of cars all lined up on our driveway. I started running to try and get through them all and get back to my search, but whenever I ran the dream faded. I had to resort to walking through all these cars instead and hoping no one bothered me.

As fate would have it however, some random idiot just had to jump out of his car and start following me trying to strike up a conversation. I turned around to tell him to get the heck away from me (cause he was just an annnoying DC), but around this time the dream faded and that is as far as I can remember.

Sadly... in this dream I had perfect control, remembered my major dream goal immediately, got started looking even, but in the end another stupid DC ruined it all!! Grr... Why... can't... I... just... complete.... this.... goal!?!?!!?!

    8. Twelfth Lucid Dream

      by , 10-16-2012 at 05:53 AM
Well, although this dream wasn't exactly life-changing like the last one, it WAS lucid however so I feel it worthy of taking note.

So, I was at this old hotel place and it was night. The atmosphere was very creepy in general, with the lights in the hotel having that sort of eerie, dim glow, even when switched on. Anyways, during the whole thing it was amost like watching a horror movie, with everything having that creepy green tint. Then... it got really wierd. I remember hearing a knock at the door (Ok I guess it was a motel, not a hotel. ) Anywho... in the dream I just had this dread that something bad was gonna happen and decided against answering. The knocking subsided, but then I realized... I had left the door UNLOCKED! I ran over to lock it when I heard more knocking. Then... someone started to try and open the door. I resisted with all my might but I was feeling strangely weak and was helpless.

Then... the door burst open and this very scary looking horse type creature with pure black eyes and a satanic look on its face came charging into the room at me. Luckily... I managed to dodge it and escape out the window. I went running through the parking lot looking for help, but like all horror movies... even when there should be help around... of course there wasnt.

After running till I could run no more.. I finally came to a house. Luckily... the guy inside was a cop so if I could just get his attention I would be home free! At this point I became fully lucid, and in control of my body. I was like... "Oh, wait... I'm dreaming! Before I work on my dream goals though... better take care of the problem at hand so as not to ruin the experience." So then... I proceeded to get the cop's attention so he could shoot this darned horse scary creature thing and I could get on with my experiments. However... as is the stereotypical cop.. he was glued to his tv watching football with coffee and a donut at the ready.

Being a good citizen however, and always showing appreciation to our service-men, I politely knocked on his door. The strange thing was... despite having perfect control of myself, no matter how hard I knocked, I just couldn't get the door to make any noise! I tried yelling as well, but my efforts were all futile. At this point, the horse creature was right behind me but I simply asked it to wait for a moment until I could figure this out. Apparently I am finally overcoming my DC interference issues, because the creature obeyed as if it was my dog.

Now... I had to come up with a creative solution to get the cop's attention. I happened to have a notepad with me so I wrote him a message. I then tried breaking a window to throw it to him, but I was unable to break the glass for some strange reason and instead, simply slid it under the door. However, then he got up from his chair because commercials came on. Although I was still unable to make a peep, I was able to exhibit some amazing control here. I simply willed him to come back downstairs and find the note. To my own amazement in the dream... this worked after only a matter of a few seconds. He came downstairs, read the note, got his gun, and that was that.

Unfortunately at this point however... I can't remember ever getting to work in my dream goals because that is as far as I remember. Maybe he invited me in for donuts and coffee??? Hehe.

    9. Very Emotional Dream

      by , 10-13-2012 at 07:27 AM
FYI before I get into this dream too far, this one was so awesome and personal to me... I am only going to write down a general outline of it.

The first thing I remember is that I was standing on a dam between a lake and these huge, open plains. It was sunset and the sky was a beautiful red with some clouds. However, I somehow learned that the world was about to end, that very night, due to a huge meteor that was going to strike the Earth. I went to see who had caused this and when I found them, they said there was nothing they could do. Ready to accept my fate, I went back to this lake and just waited for the inevitable, deciding to be at peace by just relaxing in the sunset by this lake. However, right before the meteor hit, I became lucid for a couple of seconds. Intead of seeing this as the end, I saw it as a way to accomplich my dream goals. Maybe... if I concentrated enough... when this meteor hit... I.. could... meet.. them...BAM! The meteor hit before I could concentrate on creating a new scene for after everything was destroyed. My lucidity was lost although I was still aware that I needed to find them, I wasn't really aware enough to figure out a creative solution.

Anyways, after the meteor hit I ended up at this strange hotel place. I could remember that they should be there if I just kept looking. I frantically began running as fast as I could go throughout the entire place, but no luck. Eventually, I ended up heading outside to this huge market area that was very nice and relaxing, well, if it hadn't been destroyed by this meteor. The strange thing was... it seemed like I had been the only survivor and the whole world was wiped out, but I managed to survive. Anyways, an immense sadness overcame me as I walked through this destroyed market. I couldn't help but stop and grieve for all the lost sould who, an hour before, had been part of this thriving market area. I also feared, that since it appeared I was the only survivor, the one I was looking for had probably been lost as well. I simply sat down and began weeping.

I then had one of the most intense flashbacks of my life. It went back about 6 years. I would of been about 10 I think and I was strolling through this same market area. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Everyone was just strolling about, buying this, looking at that. Then in the flashback, the one I was searching for appeared. Although I had never met them, they came over to me. Then we went about through this market and spent a very nice day together. This all occurred in the flashback. When it was over, I rose from weeping and pondered the flashback. I was still somewhat aware at this point, although I felt utterly hopless being able to actually find them in the dream. I was still awestruck however at how wonderful the flashback had been. Although it was more like watching a movie, it really inspired me that it would still happen, although maybe not in this dream. I then proceeded through the ruined marketplace, feeling a very intenst mixed emotion of being extremely sad and still hopeful at the same time. Sometime during my walk, I woke up and recorded the dream. When I woke up, I had tears in my eyes and I was breathing very heavily. I felt so amazing though, like... i don't know, it was just one of those dreams that makes you feel amazing for an entire week.

I am now very hopeful for my next dream that it will happen.

    10. Eleventh Lucid Dream!

      by , 09-25-2012 at 06:04 AM
So last night I was able to get to bed around 10:00 which was nice. This allowed me the full 8 hours of sleep a teenager is supposed to get.

      Anyways...

This dream started out as a false awakening, and a very vivid one I might add. The first thing I remember is lifting my head up from the sink after brushing my teeth. I then reached for my razor to shave. The wierd thing was... it was dead! Now, in the dream I remembered plugging it in the night before (which I actually DID do) and thought it most peculiar it was dead. I don't rememebr exactly how but this somehow made me lucid.

Ready to go have some fun, I went out of my room and headed upstairs, only to be confronted by my math teacher in my house! She started asking me why I was headed upstairs. After one too many times of my DC's ruining my lucids, I had learned, and completely ingonred her and proceeded upstairs. Even though I was fully aware and lucid, I felt the need to go put my contacts in. It was very realistic, and blurry just like in real life. I went back to my room to put my contacts in and my math teacher again asked my what I was doing. This time I told her to can it and go away and she promptly evactuated the house.

After my little victory over my DC, and now actually able to see after putting my contacts in, I then decided it was finally time to accomplish my dream goals! I recounted how the night before I had been reading about summoning characters and decided on a technique to try.

I went and stood in the corner and just closed my eyes. I then reached behind me and envisioned that if I reached my hand out, they would grab it and be there when I turned around. Well... I reached around, desparetely grasping for them. I did this for about 10 seconds, focusing intently on them being there. After a few seconds more... I felt someone grab my hand! I was elated. I opened my eyes and began to turn around. Time seemed to slow down as the adrenaline started pumping. It seemed to take forever to turn around. Maybe 10 minutes?!?! But, i still had ahold of them and I was fine with it. I just envisioned all the adventures to come and finally made my revolution. It was then REALLY upsetting though because... as I was finally able to see them, they started to vanish, just like a ghost. I called out for them to come back but we were helpless to stop it. I was only able to see them for a few seconds when this happened. Feeling very setback and upset about this, I went and climbed back in my bed and woke myself up. THis dream was very intense and emotional. I woke up feeling this rush of happiness and sadness all at once. I was breathing pretty hard too from the excitement I guess.

However... this is one step closer to my dream goals!!!! The first time I saw them, it was only for maybe a second. This time... it lasted about 5 seconds. I think I just get myself so excited when it is finally happening that I do myself in. At least I am making progress. Next lucid goal... 10 seconds.
    11. Taking it Up a Notch

      by , 08-31-2012 at 05:42 AM
Well, I guess my brain picked the perfect time to achieve a breakthrough, considering this is my 100th enty now.

Anyways, this dream was very cool because I had SO MUCH control. I mean, in my recent lucid dreams, I have had really good control, its just that in this one, it felt like I was there for hours!

So anyways, I was at my house. I don't know why but I suddenly got the notion that I was dreaming and did a nose pinch. It worked perfectly, and I did it like 100 times just loving the feeling of knowing I was dreaming! I spent probably a good hour in the dream world just making plans for when I was going to work on my dream goals. I decided to go about getting everything perfect, would then wake up from the alarm and record that I was about to work on my dream goals, then go back into the dream where everything was already prepared and FINALLY accomplish my goals. Well, the alarm went off like i expected and I woke up. I had this strange feeling that I had just been having an amazing dream, but my need to go to the bathroom sadly made me forget what it was. By the time I got back to bed,i just went back to sleep, totally forgetting everything.

Then today at school, I suddenly recalled this dream and was pretty mad that I had let myself forget it! At least I am having really good control now though, so next time, I am going straight to the goals.

      See ya.

    12. 10 Lucid Dream - ALMOST Completed Major Dream Goal

      by , 08-08-2012 at 06:36 AM
Well, last night I was as close as I have come to completing my major dream goal, and yet, it still didn't quite happen which now that I think about it kind of just makes me mad, because I was SOOOOO close and yet it still didn't happen...

Anyways, the first thing I remember is that I was at this old walled city, somewhere in Italy I believe. Anyways, in this city, two futuristic armies composed of robots were duking it out for control of the city. It was kind of like a video game, because each robot had a little health bar above its head and stuff like that. Anyways, sometime during my explorations of the city, the alarm woke me up. As soon as this happened, I was able to recall the dream and instantly go right back into it.

When I first got back in, I was a little drowsy, thinking myself to still be asleep. I then realized however that I was back in this city and became lucid. This time, I remembered to stabalize the dream, which is a good step in the right direction. I just told myself over and over that I was in a dream and it was going to stay stable and I would stay lucid so I could work on my dream goals. I then decided to accomplish my major one. (I also contemplated the group project goal as well, but just couldn't help myself. :-/ Anyways, I just began telling myself that as I explored the city, I would find who I was looking for. As soon as I had said this, a little arrow just popped up in the center of the city, floating above a building. I thought that this myst be leading me to them so I followed it. As I made it to the building, the arrow started bouncing up and down as if to say "Your destination is ahead" I entered the building however, to find no one in it. I went into the basement, where there was a kitchen.

I then remember turning around and seeing a shadow coming around the corner. I looked closer, and then they came around the corner and it was none other than who I had been wanting to meet this whole time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In the dream, I was literally speechless and just kind of stood there in shock. They they came over and we were just about to greet eachother and then a bunch of the robots suddenly came in and stormed the building where we were. They instantly came in and violently separated us from each other. I was so furious that I woke myself up, trying to kill the robots so I could get back. Man I was so mad!!!!! Here I was about to finally achive a HUGE goal of mine and these damn robots come in and ruin it!!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRR!!!!!!

After waking up from that, I just went back to sleep because I was so angry. I do wonder though... did the robots storm the building because I was so excited t was finally happening, and I almost didn't believe it myself? I just need to be really confident next time so that doesnt happen again. Either way though I AM going to achive this goal soon. I also am going to try and meet some people from the shared dreaming project tonight as well.

    13. Ninth Lucid Dream - The Abandoned Warehouse

      by , 08-06-2012 at 07:18 PM
      Awareness - 9 / 10
      Control - 9 / 10

The dream started out in this abandoned warehouse area. I have to admit it was pretty creepy, but I had a flashlight. As i was exploring this location, the alarm went off, waking me up. I was able to recall the dream very easily and went right back to sleep. I was able to successfully re-enter this dream and have a WILD!!

Now lucid in the dream, I continued exploring. Then it got kind of wierd because although I was still inside this warehouse, I was also out in this huge open field. It was like a bunch of grassy hills and stuff, just all inside this dark old warehouse. I didn't really mind though and decided to work on my dream goals. I forgot to stabalize the dream however, so it was all a little shaky during 'testing'. First, I decided to accomplish my dream goals, I would need to work on more control, so, the first thing I did was change my flashlight into a screwdriver, because there was this old door that I needed to get through. I went through it and changed the screw driver back into a flashlight.

At this point I was getting anxious to work on my dream goals so I couldn't help myself and decided to do that. Anyways, I came up to this big hill and decided this was the place. I said "As soon as I go around this hill, the person I want to meet will be waiting for me on the other side." Well, it kind of worked... I went around the hill and sure enough someone WAS there, but it wasn't who I had in mind!! It was this little robot thing and then I just went over and kicked it. Frustrated with myself for getting too anxious and not stabalizing the dream first, I went back and just sat on the hill. I thought that maybe if I tried again but really focused on what they looked like and such, maybe it would be successful this time. When I went to do this however, I woke up.

Well, another successful WILD! However, now I just need to work on some personal control and not let myself get so anxious. Just need to stabalize the dream first, master control of the dream, THEN meet them...
Oh well, it's getting better every night!!

    14. Eigth Lucid Dream - Honing in my Dream Control Skills

      by , 08-06-2012 at 12:11 AM
      Awareness - 9 / 10
      Control - 10 / 10

Well, the first thing I remember about this dream is that I was at my house and we had just got a pool table. I was shooting some pool all by myself and ended up getting a scratch (because I am just such a good pol player ). Anyways, I went to retrieve the cue ball and then the alarm went off, waking me up. Since I was awoken fresh from the dream, I was able to remember it easily. I then went right back to sleep, telling myself that I would recognize when I was back in the dream. Sure enough, I ended up back in front of the pool table, holding the cue ball about to go reset it from the scratch. At this point I was like "Oh ya, I'm back in the dream!"

I then remembered how I had read a thread yesterday about verbal commands and how they can be very effective at perfect dream control. In the dream, my room was really messy, so I thought I would start simple and clean my room. I started off by saying "My room will now be clean", however, nothing happened. I thought maybe if I said it differently. I then tried this... "Stuff, (to all the stuff on the floor) ORGANIZE!" Then everything came to life and started putting itself away. It was amzing. I then went and talked to it as if I was a drill sergeant, honing in my skills. I said "Stuff, ATTEN - TION!" Then all my clothes and everything snapped to attention to hear the next order. I then said "Stuff, AT - EASE!" Everything then relaxed just as I had told it to do. I was dumbfounded at how well this was working. I then decided to go work on my dream goals and went to head outside. For some reason however I decided I needed my mp3 player, but I couldn't remember where I put it. I said "MP3 Player, Please report in." It then just came and kind of walked over and lept into my hand. Satisfied, I put it in my pocket and went outside. When I opened the door however, I must of been a little too anxious or something because a there was just a void outside, like my mind hand't generated it yet or something. I closed the door and returned to my room to stabalize the dream. As I was about to do so however, I woke up.

That was definitely a step in the right direction in terms of having my dreams go however I want. I am just elated right now at how well that worked and super excited for my next lucid!!!

    15. Seventh Lucid Dream - At the Movies

      by , 08-04-2012 at 07:13 AM
      Awareness - 8 / 10
      Control - 10 / 10

Well, this was a very good lucid dream in terms of that I was fully aware and in control. However, for some reason the stabalization techinque I used actually caused me to wake up so I wasn't able to get anything done.

The first thing I remember is that I was outside being chased by a bunch of security guards. They cornered me at this giant building and told me to go inside. I complied and it turns out it was a movie theatre. (Idk what the securuty thing was about but whatever. lol) Anyways, I went inside and found that my friends were ther as well. I asked what movie was playing, and they said it was similar to Act of Valor, which made me happy. Anyways, the advertisements finally started and the lights dimmed. Then some strange thing happened, causing me to become lucid. Right before the movie started a license agree ment popped up on the screen. It was kind of like when you install software on your computer and have to click the 'I agree' button. I thought this was really wierd for two reasons.

      1. Since when did the moview have a license agreement?
      2. How were we all supposed to click 'I agree' anyways?

At this point I became lucid and started going through my checklist. Then my friends asked what I was doing and I told them I was in a dream and they needed to go away. They didn't believe me and started telling me to shutup and watch the movie. I thought about just going outside so I could get started but felt it would be rude to the rest of the DC's in the theatre. *facepalm* Anyways, I sat back down trying to concentrate over the blair of the movie. I then stood back up to just go outside because I knew I was dreaming anyways, but for some reason decided against it again. I then finally remembered a stabalization technique to try. I started examining my hands. I have read this is a very reliable way to keep the dream stable. Well, i looked at my hands and they were black like they had frostbite or something. As I looked at them however, they regained color. The dream started to clear and I stood up to go outside and work on my dream goals. Then for some reason I just started watching the movie instead! I was able to pull myself out of it though thankfully and tried looking at my hadns again. This time however, as soon as I did I woke up.

Well, I am now SUPER close to that one dream goal. Next lucid hopefully!

      See ya
