Not in complete control?

well last night was my fourth lucid, WOOT
but i wanted a weapon, any weapon really so i said i would have a glock in my pocket, and when i stuck my hand in my pocket there was nothing, i could not summon a weapon no matter what.

Help me please?

Oh it is normal, every once in a while control can fail in a LD, happens to everyone. So don't worry too much about it, you just got unlucky that one.

Like Walms said, you can't have perfect control 100% of the time. What works for me almost every time, though, is just expectation. You know, reaching into your pocket and knowing you'll feel a gun in there. Imagine what it'll feel like as you pull it out, and how heavy it'll be...

Imagine you're a character in a movie you've already seen before. You know there'll be a gun there, and you know you'll take it out and start shooting with it.

It'd be pretty hard to fit a glock in your pocket...understand while anything can happen in a dream, your mind works with what it already knows. If you're not experienced enough in controlling your dreams, knowing that logically a glock can't fit in your pocket will inhibit it from occurring in your dream.

Next time I would recommend turning around and expecting to find a weapon on a table, or on the floor. Maybe try extending your hand out of view and imagining your fingers closing around the trigger. If you want something (anything) to happen, it's easier if you don't actually see it occurring (hence turning around), you need to feel it instead.

Some people are just bad at summoning and control. That's all I can say.

Yeah you tech has been working pretty good 3 out of 5 isn't bad

And yeh, I have deep pockets. I carry around a glock in my pocket all the time

With an extended clip
*dude... 2.4k lucid in a years time? That's my new long term goal lol

Well I had my 5th lucid last night, only lasted a few seconds but still a lucid nonetheless

Try thinking of a reason why the weapon should be there and also visualize it.

I want to get help too. My last 3 LDs was awful. I was like partly-paralysed or having weights on my limbs. I couldn't even stand up and i hardly moved. I tried some spells to dispel it, but nothing worked. What should i do?
