      Dreams fade after summoning

What I'm trying to do is summon anime characters...

Now, has anyone pulled that off while having a lucid dream that is super realistic and stable? This happened 3 or 4 times now: I'll stabilize a dream completely and then try to meet an anime character, but they look distorted and then the dream fades.

My guess is that it isn't one of confidence, but a matter of the mind thinking, "An anime character in a real life setting? Wtf would that even look like?"

Does anyone know a way around this?...

I have met anime characters in dreams before but never summoned them. It was a non lucid and I met people from Fooly Cooly. It was really interesting because everything was completly realistic but they still looked anime somehow. The seting also was bright a beutiful like in the show but somehow still realistic looking. I think you should just let your mind go with it and expect that they will look right.

      Hi there my friend,
I think what you need right is your imagination. The more you know how an anime character looks like and how it's stylized, the more likely it'll look like an actual anime character. You can also just say to the anime DC: "turn around and fix your face". Maybe that'll work. Always remember that if you want somethings there's a way in achieving it. Hope this helps

I'm not sure if it's okay to post here without an anime profile pic, but...

Ibanezmonster, instead of just inviting anime DC's into your existing dream, why no make the whole dream anime, background and all? Believe it or not, that might be easier than trying to get the anime DC to "fit" into your dream, in the end. Plus it might be great fun, especially after you discover that you've turned into an anime DC too!

Yeah, that would be a fun idea to try out!

what method do you use to summon?
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

Here's a late reply to you , but...

I tried to make them appear right before my eyes, and I know that is definitely not the way to go. However, I've also tried turning around...
I watched clips of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and did a few combinations of pictures. For example, I combined two different pictures together to get a feel of what it might look like:

I'll eventually try making the whole world an anime world, but only when I get to expert level.
