      On the Fly Stabilization

Yes it is how it sounds, I had just started to lucidly fly/hover in my dream, but I remembered I should stabilize in order not too wake up too quickly. At least I'm starting to bring DV techniques into my dreams, and not just waiting for "random" lucids to happen.

Anyway my technique was fairly simple. It had to be, cause I was hovering.
I threw my arms out straight in front of me and said audibly, "Stabilize dream!"
It worked and gave more clarity to everything around me.

Sounds like a great stabilization technique. I might use it sometime since speaking out loud seems to help me a lot. There are other ways you can stabilize while flying though. You could focus on the feeling of flying and the feeling of the wind blowing in your face. I imagine that rubbing your hands together wouldn't be too hard either. You could also stabilize by focusing on the details of the environment around you.
