Throwing things in dreams

Last night I had my first full LD (I could control it for more than 5 minutes). In the dream, there was a guy trying to kill me, so I threw him until I woke up. He didn't go very far, maybe 5 feet. I tried using more strength, but it didn't make a difference. I also tried freezing him and using "the force", but it didn't work. Am I doing something wrong? Until now, I thought to control your dream all you had to do is imagine it happening and it will.

Just curious, do you throw things a lot in waking life? Maybe baseball, or something similar?

Hi wood, it does take time to controll things in a Dream, I'm a natural but I have only just started to use powers etc you will see that if you check out my dream about the fire balls lol, look at a far away object in your dream and decide you are going to throw something to that point and see if that works, good luck

my only suggestion and what I do, and I moved things with my mind before I ever became lucid, Is that you have to KNOW it will happen not just Imagine.

When I was young and still new to lucid dreaming, I would have trouble fighting certain DCs even though I became lucid. You should practice on objects and DCs that are willing at first until you are good at it. Then when the DC bullies come around you can put them down with relative ease.
