Thread: Techniques to help increase lucidity?

The other night i had my first lucid dream, i believe it was a very low level of lucidity because when i realised i was dreaming i still had doubts and didn't want to try anything and i woke up soon after. I was wondering if there are anythings I can do to increase my lucidity and have a really vivid dream? Also are there anythings i can do to increase my chances of having a lucid dream tonight?

See, when you realized that you are dreaming then do some reality checks to control your dream. You need to do meditation daily for gaining lucidity again.

Just do a bunch of reality checks and keep looking at your hands and telling your self its a dream to increase lucidity. To make it more vivid look down at your hands and yell out "Increase Clarity!" or you can try spinning around for a while, rubbing your hands, or, my favorite, touch everything around you to get a sense of touch in your dream.
