Lightbulb Making it sunny in dreams?

I have noticed that as of late my dreams are at night. I try really hard to bring out the sun but it is hard to control light in dreams. So, I like to imagine myself somewhere else where it's sunny and I can see clearly, but it doesn't work well and I usually teleport close to where I wanted to be (within 50 feet)

My question is: What do you do to combat darkness in dreams?

An easier method is to picture that the sky as a round card pinned below the ground. Picture it as something as light as a card and spin it around. Day becomes night and so. Get this one down and changing the day to night is no harder then spinning a giant wheel.

I dunno, if I want that the sun comes out / it to be more bright I have an easy time to achieve this by just saying/wishing it to be. Just say it with much confident and really wishing it + imagination. But I also like Sivasons advice

      Get a flash-light :p

Just kidding. Are you perhaps already expecting the dream to be dark and unable to change that thought?

You can try the old method of pretending it is naturally happening. You add something to the plot, something like this: Look at your wrist as if you have a watch on. State confidently "good 8 am, the sun is coming up." Then even if you do not see it happening, keep up the act. "Oh nice, I love a good sunrise." And so on. This kind of insisting that the dream IS doing what you want, can often change the dream.

      *MOved to Dream control*

I found that pretending it already is so is the easiest way for me. Like saying "oh look, how is everything detailed".

Yeah, one time I was trying to summon something to my pocket, so I put my hand in my pocket and found nothing. I then thought 'of course it isn't in my front pocket. I put it in my back pocket.' I reached around and grabbed it.

I like the card idea sivason. What do you do about the rain?

Nice ideas. I have a question though, by pinned below the ground you mean the card is underground?

And the dreams are nighttime without me even influencing it. Hopefully these ideas can help.

Most of my FAs are in the dark and out of 52LDs, and 10 of them were from FAs. So that is why I am interested .

I also echo JShadow, Sivason are you saying to get the card from under the ground and then flip it?

Hi guys. I am talking about something like a color wheel. Like a round piece of paper that has a pin through the very middle so that it can turn. I am not sure how to describe it, but it is a common real life thing used in schools to do charts and colors and such. Just picture that the sky can be moved and thaat it rotates around easily, then move the entire sky with that idea. Just picture the wheel turning and that the other half of the wheel is sun light. You 'turn' it from night into day. If the whole planet was in the middle of the wheel, that is what I meant by pinned underground. It makes the sky a small easilly dealt with concept, instead of massive stable thing.

Brandon, do you want to create rain or make rain go away? To create rain, simply become very very aware in the shower and memorize the feel of water spashing off your body. In the dream you can just picture that feeling while visualizing little lines running vertically. To get rid of it, it is just a matter of not thinking about it. Getting rid of a DC or rain or whatever, involves focusing on other things. The better you get at controlling your thoughs while awake, the easier it will be to prevent or remove things like rain. Thinking about how to get rid of an element is still thinking 'about' that thing, so does not work. Just switch your focus and do not acknowledge the thing.

I was talking about making it go away since one time it got in my eye and I immediately rubbed my eyes and woke myself up. but I think I should learn how to do both.

I see now. I will try the expectation, and if that doesn't work I will try the color wheel.

      Thank you for your help!

For anyone who doesn't get the color wheel idea, it's like this.

WOW! That is awesome. Neat picture and it is exactly the kind of thing I am talking about, how cool.

The color wheel idea is neat, I'll have to give that a try sometime!

What I usually do to make the sun come out is to use telekinesis on it. I look toward the horizon with my hand outstretched and pull the sun upwards with force of will until it is just above the horizon, where I leave it to finish rising on it's own. I find that if I put it in the middle of the sky to start with, it gives off about as much light as the moon and is therefore no help at all.

That is cool. I am a TK master, so I might try that if all else fails. Thanks for the advice.
