Question I Had A Lucid Dream But Coudln't Control It?!

I took a look at my hand. It was MESSED UP, had like 7 fingers. So I realized I was dreaming, so a guy was playing with something, lol, I wanted to have it, so I imagined it was in my hand but, it didn't work.

Oh yea, this was also my FIRST lucid dream. </3

First lucid dreams are never easy to control, also if you want something to suddenly be in your hand you need to trick your brain into feeling the object, seeing it materialize and all that. It's better to just expect to find the object in your pocket or behind you on the ground.

Congrats on your first aswell! Dream Control gets easier with each time.

      Congrats on your first lucid!

Matte87 is right, dream control will definitely come with practice. You can also try yelling out some commands if you want some stuff to happen.

      Cheers

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Yeah, they're right, your first lucid dream, will probably be more a learning experience other then a blast of fun. It took me a while getting used to the feeling of being lucid in a dream before I could control much. Though flying came naturally for me. Maybe you should try to just launch yourself at the sky and see if you can fly? Good luck for your next lucid WAHOO!

Dream Control and lucidity are not the same, but lucidity definitely helps. Good job on your first lucid! Keep at it, don't forget to DJ! I would recommend putting your non personal lucid dreams on here so people can comment on them, and if you have any questions, they can help you more by looking at what you have done.

Congrats! In my first couple lucid dreams, I struggled with control as well. Even Neo wasn't able to make the Jump program the first time (if you don't know what I'm talking about, watch the Matrix, it's a great movie). In your next few lucid dreams you will get the hang of it

hey dude ive havent had loads of lucid dreams, but ive learnt along the way that the most important thing you can do is to Stabilize so that you can hang on to the magical place that is a lucid dream, as soon as you know that you are dreaming grab on to something, anything, a tree, a table, the grass beneath your feet, examine it, then try to incorporate all of your senses, try to feel the sun on your back, and breath in the clear air etc this will solidify your presence in the dream and make the dream much more realistic and wonderful. and congrats on your first lucid, keep up the commitment and you will be reward
