Donīt be offended please! But why donīt you try to solve that issue in your lucid dreams? Maybe look for your dream-guide or shout in the air why you do it or ask you subC to make the urge stop. Iīm pretty sure that could help! |

I have these dark dreams about cutting myself (I know, it's not "healthy" to you but it's addicting and unusually relieving to me to dream about it instead of acting on it). Unfortunately, I can never get the blood to look realistic which greatly frustrates me- more than it should. I've tried everything to enhance the detail of it but nothing really works. Anybody know how to enhance details like blood? The cuts simply look like red lines and there's no dripping or anything. I need it to be more realistic. Don't bother asking why- I'll never even know the answer to that question. |

I agree with lucidmats; LDing can be a great way to "talk to your shadow." Find out why you feel compelled to do that thing. Your dreams can really surprise you. Eventually you may realize that you don't need to be addicted to that anymore. |

You are limiting yourself, you can make the blood just as real as real life itself if you thought you could. Demand better visual and graphics the only reason why you have the ability to make things look very realistic is because in lucid dreams you may have a control over the pareital lobe. |

I am glad for you that you have found a safer way to deal with pain but would ultimately be more satisfied for you if you had actually abolished the need for cutting altogether. Woulden't the satisfaction of seeing realer blood actually drain all the motivation from you which could potentially be used for actually solving underlying issues? |
