Thread: Can you make a specific character your dream guide?

Is it possible to turn a random character into your dream guide? If you want a certain person to be your dream guide (like a parent, your friend, your brother) can you make it that way? If this is possible, can someone explain how to do this?

as far as I know, they are what they are and you can't change that. though I believe some people have numerous dream guides and they may vary in in form.

I suppose if you find your "dream guide", you could ask them if it was possible for them to change their appearance?

Its a Dream. Why do people ask 'is XYZ possible?????????????????????????????????????????? ??.

If you believe its possible it is; dont wait for someone else to tell you it is.

Just find the character and ask them to be your Dreamguide????

You know, I tell people all the time that they can do anything in a dream, yet I turn around and ask if something is possible. Ironic.

i have found it quite impossible to change my dream guide into anything other than what he is when he first comes to me in my dreams.

That defines my experience with dream guides. My guardian-type guide stays the same shape, but my friend-type guide often shapeshifts from his original form.

Guides can definitely shift. Just don't make it a form you'll feel uncomfortable with (girlfriend/friend).

None of my dream guides bear resemblance to those I know in real life.

Wouldn't it make you uncomfortable to see your girlfriend as your spiritual mentor? Especially if she became your ex!

i suppose you could make anyone your dream guide if you wanted to.

It's possible only if you believe it to be possible. Like the watch RC, why do we recognize it as not normal? It could have convieniently been dismissed as faulty and yet we recognize it when it happene and conclude it's a dream. So that alone proves that anything/method is possible when we believe it will work and makes sense. You'll have to think of your own way that you think will work...

Well I always thought that your dream guide was some kind of sentient aspect of your mind or DC that you had no control over, I thought that was the point. I don't really know a lot about them or feel any desire to find one, so I am pretty skeptical on the whole issue. It seems that they are just a DC, then, though?

yeah, seriously i think its just a DC that you have put more time and effort into than most

if you just focus on any DC you find/make it could probably become your DG

I just think its a way to access your Sub C more easily

That makes way more sense. I couldn't understand the whole "finding" your DC if it is possible to change it haha

That's how I find my DG most of the time. Just changing one of the DC's into it.

That is exactly what I think it is.
People have just made the meaning of 'Dream Guide' alot more super natural than it really is, thus making it all that much harder.

Yeah, it might be your dreamguide, and it might be able to answer all your questions regarding yourself, but it's still a dream.
