      RC 'fail'

Well, I didn't knew where to put this, if its at wrong place move it.
It's been like 6-7 times that I missed being lucid. Well, in many dreams I see that clock time has changed after I look it twice, or that I can breath underwater, or I even talk about lucid dreaming in dream, but still don't become lucid. Well those RC's in dream I do accidentaly.
So my questions is:what am I doing wrong ?

the way you do RC, look at shift's tutorial, it's very well made.
you mustn't only do RC, but you must raise your awareness a lot, observe all of your environment

Try to do something that physically affects you (the nose pinch is my favorite). Alot of the time I don't notice I'm in a dream no matter how bizarre the conditions (just like last night's dream... I dreamt I was in my room with my brother, only to realize that I don't actually have a brother O.o).

If you can make it part of your habits you'll do it out of habit in your dreams, and most likely immediately realize that you're breathing with your nose closed.

Yea I see what are you trying to tell me, but I don't do them on purpose : It just happens that I done them in dream.
And thanks for advice, I'll also start doing Shift's daily dream sign.

I find that RCs are really just a way to raise awareness of your surroundings. A way to stop and think for a bit about what you really feel like and how you can interact with the world around you.

If you just "go through the motions" when you do an RC, chances are you won't really notice or care if something weird happens. If you are concentrating on your conscious awareness, chances are you will recognize if you are dreaming or not dreaming.

Most of my lucids come from "just feeling" that it is a dream, not from a specific reality check. That feeling comes from awareness and concentration.

      Feeling comes from experience too.

Don't worry OP, you are on the right path. When I first started out I'd have dreams where I talked about lucid dreaming and even showed someone how to do reality checks.

It's frustrating when you wake up from that but it's only a matter of time before it starts working.

When you do a reality check, try concentrating on what it would feel like if your reality check failed. Actually ponder the thoughts of 'This could all be a dream' and don't accept anything for being real for a minute.

      This should get you prepared.

I would say that you are not putting your whole awareness into the RC while you are awake, and therefore the same thing is happening while you are asleep. Try paying more attention to the reason why you are doing the RC while awake not just doing them and you might notice a big difference, remember to really ask your self if you are dreaming and activly look for a reason to tell you otherwise, this will help.

Nevermind what you're doing wrong, concentrate on what you're doing right.

All those missed lucid opportunities you described means you're getting really close to lucidity. I consider those signs that your efforts are paying off. Don't get discouraged when you're so close.
