It could be because you were having a dream during NREM sleep. There's not definitive proof as to what dreams are like during NREM, but from my experience they're much more audio based, with few visuals. Next time this happens, maybe try to take some proactive steps toward gaining control of your situation. Things like yelling "CLARITY NOW," and trying to involve your senses in the dream. However, I can see that as being tough if you aren't getting any visuals. |
