      Interpreting Hypnagogia?

I see a lot of threads about dream interpretation, but I wonder...is it possible to interpret hypnagogic hallucinations?

A lot of what I hear is just random speak, but I still wonder why my brain spits out these random words and sentences. They had to come from somewhere.

      Any ideas or theories?

I've never thought of the idea of trying to interpret hypnagogia. Personally when I've experienced voices during hallucinations it's mostly friends and people from school saying my name, things they've said throughout the day and related things like that. I think in that sense that it's probably just my brain quickly caching all the memories of that day.

In the sense of whispering and voices you don't know, I've never experienced it. Perhaps try and focus and take note of the words you hear, and see if you can find any understanding in them

Last night I tried to write down all of what I heard, instead of just the interesting stuff. I omitted the one-worders.

      "say hey to somebody"

      "bug spray in the middle"

"I am not happy with you"

      "eat my shoes off"

      "I love you"

      "are there any questions?"

      "George Washington man"

I stopped after that because I was hearing too many phrases before I could write them down.

I could see perhaps interpreting the phrases such as "I am not happy with you" and "are there any questions?" but the others like "bug spray in the middle" and "George Washington man" I have no idea about.

That's certainly pretty interesting! I suppose maybe just keep listening to them and see if there's any repeating patterns, somewhat like dream signs and then see if they relate to your life in any way. Perhaps you've stumbled onto something!
