anybody have any clue what this could mean?

first off, i apologize if i post this in the wrong section, but i just cant seem to figure out exactly where i should put it.. also, excuse me for being new..

but i had the most intense dream of my life last night.. it was a warm summer night, around 8-9 pm, i was riding in a car down the interstate with a friend and it began to heat lightning. we were passing a large city when it all started to happen.. i just happened to look at of the window and there was a flash of lightning, the city took this red glow to it, and an appirition of it being burned down with buildings destroyed and fire everywhere appeared. it only lasted a few seconds but it had my full attention. i began to get really spooked and i asked my friend next to me if they saw what just happened, he said yeah, it was lightning and gave me this really weird look on his face. i assumed i was just seeing something in my head and just ignored it, maybe i was getting tired i thought. then again, another flash of lightning and this time the city was even more destroyed, and i felt like i was in the streets of it the city and seeing every thing up close, there were destroyed cars, bodies all on the ground, just total destruction.

at this point i began to get really afraid of what was going on, so i told my buddy to pull into the next rest stop so i could walk and clear my head. the rest stop was surrounded by trees and in total darkness at this point. the lightning was still going, but i could no longer see the city. as i was walking around, i saw an orb of light pass by my face and travel into the trees, and then another one go by. i began to try and follow them while by buddy was using the rest room. i wondered out into a small clearing over looking the city. there was a huge lightning flash, and the city was gone, looking something like hiroshima or nagasaki after a nuke had blown up with the red glow as the backdrop. the shock of that knocked me on my back, and i looked straight up into the clouds. suddenly a large whole in the storm appeared, and i began to see a bright star glowing with super intinsinty.. i was unable to move, the star had almost paralyzed me, i started to freak out but then a warm calming feeling over came me. the star began to talk to me, he said he was Jesus Christ, and transformed into a almost stained glass looking figure of him. he told me what i was seeing was called 'Judgement Day Fire' and i was the only one who could see it. he told me that this was my future, and that unless i was to accept him into my life, i could expect to parish like the bodies i had seen in the city..

he dissapeared after that, and i woke up right away. i havent forgotten anything of it like i normally do with dreams, this one seems to have made a lasting impression on me.

does anybody have any clue what this could mean?

New guy huh? You better get used to the fact that we haunt dreams of new guys and eat into their brains. If you don't want that you better keep on posting.

On a less serious note, maybe someone succeeded in expanding the sun and did it quite dramatically.

But that sounds like an apocalyptic dream. These are common around this time and age. The subject is abstract and hard to grasp. I don't fully understand it but i'm curious to know how much of this was projected by urself. If you don't mind telling me i'd like to know ur religious belief/history. And if any of the things told to you by the sun had been something you might have came up with urself?

To me the, sun always represented christ consiousness , or eternal bliss. It's a perfect state of being. And i'm leaning on the idea that the sun might give off a huge solar-flare in order to restore the magnetic field to it's normal condition and bring an end to the disharmonic behaviour of mankind. Kind of like a reset and return us to an archetypal existance.
Look around the internet and you will find a lot about this.

to answer your question, my religious backround/beliefs are almost non exsistant. i believe in something yes, but im not a member of any religious sect or group for that matter. this is what is so strange to me. i dont understand why i would dream of a meeting with God, or Jesus Christ for that matter, when i am not of christian faith? i know very little about it to begin with, so like you said, i wonder how much of this i came up with myself..

Very interesting dream you had

You could meet 'god' it doesn't matter if you have a religion or not. Cos god seems to represent all things including ourselves. 'God' seems to represent Love as well. But may be you saw something else: to me your dream looks like a mix between 'the day the earth stood still' and 'knowing', but that doesn't really matter. In a matter of fact i had a quite similar dream relatively lately: i found myself in front of some administrative building with nice architecture when everything around me started to explode and burn. The explosions however seemed like the result of a type of force which my feeling suggested to me as not 'natural'. So i stay still on the ground and just observe the burning and all devastation around me awaiting my end peacefully. However for some weird to me reason i remained alive. I wondered why and i got answer that i survived just because i peacefully accepted my death, that i found my peace.

It seems like your subconscious is looking for something. Also your fear is projected as a reality into your dreams.

I'd suggest getting to know yourself more. Meditate upon what you believe in, whatever that may be. The image of Jesus was symbolic. Ponder that, the only true meaning comes through your own interpretation and insight.
