Question A snake drawn on paper in the new house?

My son had a dream and we were standing in an emtpy house with only a table in the front room. On the table was a piece of paper with a snake drawn on it with us standing beside it. Then a knock on the front door which my son answered. No one was there and when he walked back into the front room, a big black blanket fell over his head as he walked through the door way and he couldn't see! He then woke up.

Is it telling him to let me know not to bother with the house I have viewed? Any ideas would be most welcome!
      Thank you......

First of all how old is your son?

Second, you viewed a house, he heard about it, so he dreamed of it. Does he draw animals a lot? If he is like my sons, he does, so that may just be a common theme in his consciousness. Knocks on doors happen.

A blanket over the head is a scary thing. If your son is a kid, kids have nightmares more often than adults do. It could be a reflection of being scared of the dark or of a monster coming to grab him in a new house. New unfamiliar house may be scary to him by virtue of just being unfamiliar environment which he is not used to yet and thus it is scary. He may be concerned about the move and what that could mean for him.

Note: the older your son is the more sophisticated the possible dream interpretation should be. My attempt at dream interpretation above is based on a mental image of my son who is 6 if he were to dream this, but obviously if your son is 16 that would be a completely different story.

No matter what age your son is, talk to him: ask him what he thinks it means? What is he worried about? Is he worried about the new house and why? I believe that everyone is their best dream interpreter and that includes even young kids!

Thank you, I asked him and he said he doesn't know. Might be he is worried it's the right house for me?
He is in his 30's! He loves the house, so we don't understand it.
      Thank you again, JoannaB

Ah, if he is in his 30s, I am pretty sure the problem is not being afraid of the dark or of monsters trying to grab him. Lol

Blanket over head after answering the door and noone was there, could it be his being warried for safety in the new house? Is it a safe neighborhood? Does it need new locks or a security system?

Snake drawing is probably not about a kid just liking to draw. Snake makes me think of the temptor in the story of Adam and Eve - maybe the house appears too tempting? Too good to be true? Maybe he thinks on some level that you need to look for flaws a but more? Have you had a home inspection done? Snake of course also suggests possibility of poison, which could be along the same lines. This reminds me of a house we once really wanted to buy, but then we found out that it had been renovated because it used to have a flaw in its foundation, and we decided not to risk it, even though the house was gorgeous. And I am not saying here that your son has necessarily noticed a flaw like that, but basically maybe some part of him is worried that such a flaw may exist? Or that there is a flaw with the deal?

Notice that my ideas for interpretation have shifted somewhat now that I know dreamer was in his 30s and not 6.

Interesting topic. I forget my own birthdate. Its really embarrassing when someone asks for my date of birth and i gotta pull out a license to find it out.

      hello Mayfield

The snake is the symbol of the sexual energy or the vital energy...
but is not the vital energy in this context.

The piece of paper is a message or un project.
The house is the personality of the dreamer.
Then a knock on the front door which my son answered. No one was there
Yes, there was anybody out : a woman of his past.

he walked back into the front room, a big black blanket fell over his head as he walked through the door way and he couldn't see!
      He doesn't want nothing see, maybe because a unfortunate passion ;
and after... women ? "the hell take their all of !"

But how explain your presence in his dream ?
He need you, his life is empty as this house.
You should discuss with him, he is in dire need of your advices.
