Thread: Wondering what this dream is about

I had a dream, last time i slept, about my partner (we are going thru a rough patch atm) and another, random, female.

We were all somewhere I didnt recognise, on a lounge. My partner to my right, under the doona i use currently, with this random female to the left of me.

The random female wanted to hold my hand, and i knew it was wrong, and that i shouldnt be doing it, but i took her hand in mine. I felt that butterfly/excitement you get when youre with someone new.

Then the random female and i were in an alcove/doorway, and she insisted on kissing me (she wanted me more than i wanted her) i told her i cant, and that it was wrong, but i continued on, and kissed her anyway. Same butterfly/excitement feeling.

its plaguing me. probably because i havent felt that desire from anybody. thats probably all my subconscience is telling me. but its playing on my mind.

then, same night, different dream. i was high up, on some sort of bridge, with stairs leading around it. I have a fear of heights, and this was extremely profound in this dream. The same random female was also in the dream, my partner wasnt.

she also had a fear of heights, and made the platform wobble, causing me to really panic.

for some reason, i remember there being another random person, a male, (when i say random, i mean ive never met, or even seen these people before) there with us, and we were gaining employment at an aquarium?!, but we were on this platform, very high up. she told him she needed to get phone credit, and he said, "dont worry, you can use mine".

funny thing though, the stairs didnt lead anywhere, just down slightly, then back up, and to the other side, back down, and back up again. its hard to explain, but they lead to nowhere, and then suddenly, we were on a train, minus the dreadlocked aquarium man.

and thats all i can remember.

wondering what the significance of this random female is. as i said earlier, its probably my brain telling me i want to be desired. but there has to be more too it then that. i havent had any dreams for many years, i had smoked cannabis regularly for, say, 10 years (maybe longer) which stopped my dreams, now that im no longer smoking, i am dreaming again.

if anyone can read anything into my dreams, it would be greatly appreciated. i will start a dream journal, and keep ppl posted on my dreams, because as i said, i havent dreamed in roughly 10 years.
